Chapter 8: Interrogation and Escape
Mason hung in a chained chair. He was low to the ground, and felt miserable, not to mention uncomfortable. He looked up at Fuhrer Mustang, and sighed. It was a malefic system, where a specific person would get treated better than another, just because of their status. People like middle class and State Alchemists were the lowest of the low in their eyes. Mason was a military lapdog, and he obviously had to do something, या the PB would kill him without hesitation. He was well aware of that, and began to use his automail to loosen his binds. It wasn't hard, but he had to be cautious, seeing as he was surrounded द्वारा people who absolutely hated his guts, and wanted them all over the floor. He looked up as the final member entered.

Mason looked up and smiled at Mustang. "Heh, Thanks!" He shouted as he bolted for the door. He didn't stop running until he made it to the nearest train station. He was panting hard, and collapsed on a nearby bench. Before he passed out from exhaustion, he was thinking about how the hell he would get to Charlotte. She was all the way in Northern Amestris द्वारा now. He was somehow managing to stay awake, when the train pulled up. He knew it would take him to northern Amestris, because of the blue trim on the side of it. He was a very strange boy, who'd got on earlier. I hope h does't mess with anything, thought the engineer. He was staring at the young boy, passed out in his seat, dressed in a turquoise flannel, black semi-skinny pants, with plain black shoes, that seemed to have buckle on them. He slowly turned around, and went into his terminal, hoping nothing bad would come of having the fugitive Mason Elric on his train.

When he can't stand on his own, she will teach him how to walk again.
When he burns down the past in the name of making a future, she will salvage the memories worth keeping.
When he has no घर and no light to pierce the darkness, she will provide hers.
When he leaves, she will wait for his return.
When he wavers, she will hold him steady.
When he struggles with demons, she will fight with him.
When he won't listen to reason, she will knock some sense into him.
When he breaks, she will fix it and forge it stronger.
When he refuses to cry, she will wash his pain in her own tears.
When he cannot प्यार himself, she will.
And when he finally conquers the odds, she will be there to say:
"Idiot. Welcome home."
And when he offers her half his life, she will give him ALL of hers. Because true love can't be bound by the laws of Equivalent Exchange. <3 God, I love this couple...
