Chapter 8: Interrogation and Escape
Mason hung in a chained chair. He was low to the ground, and felt miserable, not to mention uncomfortable. He looked up at Fuhrer Mustang, and sighed. It was a malefic system, where a specific person would get treated better than another, just because of their status. People like middle class and State Alchemists were the lowest of the low in their eyes. Mason was a military lapdog, and he obviously had to do something, या the PB would kill him without hesitation. He was well aware of that, and began to use his automail to loosen his binds. He didn't stop running until he made it to the nearest train station. He was panting hard, and collapsed on a nearby bench. He was somehow managing to stay awake, when the train pulled up. He knew it would take him to northern Amestris, because of the blue trim on the side of it. He was staring at the young boy, passed out in his seat, dressed in a turquoise flannel, black semi-skinny pants, with plain black shoes, that seemed to have buckle on them. He slowly turned around, and went into his terminal, hoping nothing bad would come of having the fugitive Mason Elric on his train.
