Chapter one: Mason And the train-jacker
Mason strode down the streets of central, hoping to catch a bite to eat, before he headed out to relax in the fields. He spotted a small concession stand, and half-jogged over o it, pulling out an empty pocket. He looked at the manager of the stand, and they scowled.
"Just because you're a state Alchemist doesn't mean i can afford to let आप have this for free. Sorry Mason." He कहा weakly. Mason turned and walked away. "Yo, Lightning-Blade. How's it going?" Mason snorted in disgust. The man was slimy; a thief. A lowly train-robber. Mason thought better of him, and decided to give him one chance to walk away. Mason held out his hand, nonchalantly, and poked one finger upright.
"I'll give आप one chance to walk away from this. If आप don't want to get hurt, I suggest आप put the gun down." The robber just laughed.
"You may have a rep around here, but I've got something that can overcome even YOUR alchemy." Mason cocked one eyebrow, and listened intently. He heard a faint buzzing noise. It grew louder with each passing moment, until it became loud enough for him to have to cover his ears. The sleazy man smiled, and a shot rang out. Mason jumped under the cover of a train seat, right as the air where he had just been was torn with the ringing sound. Mason dared to poke his head out from behind the seat, and found that the man was reloading. Mason, took his chance, and seized the gun, right as the man was going too shoot. He forced it to point down, and the shot went through the floor of the train car. He took his automail, and smacked the man in the back of the head. He slumped forward, and Mason let him fall. Arrogant trash. Mason began to drag him द्वारा his feet, to the other end of the train, but Mason was dragged down द्वारा a sudden weight. Mason looked down, and saw the man gripping tightly to his ankle. Mason was pulled towards the gaping hole, which he suddenly realized was wide enough for him to fit through. He was pulled against his will into a hole where the sound of the train wheels was deafening. He tried his hardest to hold on, but he was pulled through, द्वारा the speed of the ground passing by. He rolled on the ground, being pulled द्वारा the train whenever he hit his head. He tumbled head over heels, until he was knocked sideways, and rolled arm over arm. When he suffers the consequences and loses everything he holds dear, she will give all she has to offer.
When he can't stand on his own, she will teach him how to walk again.
When he burns down the past in the name of making a future, she will salvage the memories worth keeping.
When he has no घर and no light to pierce the darkness, she will provide hers.
When he leaves, she will wait for his return.
When he wavers, she will hold him steady.
When he struggles with demons, she will fight with him.
When he won't listen to reason, she will knock some sense into him.
When he breaks, she will fix it and forge it stronger.
When he refuses to cry, she will wash his pain in her own tears.
When he cannot प्यार himself, she will.
And when he finally conquers the odds, she will be there to say:
"Idiot. Welcome home."
And when he offers her half his life, she will give him ALL of hers. Because true love can't be bound by the laws of Equivalent Exchange. <3 God, I love this couple...
