How come there is no RED (THUMBS DOWN) button for DISLIKE a picture या a video just like there's already A GREEN (THUMBS UP) button for LIKE?There should be a choice between LIKE and DISLIKE! Agreed?

फैन्पॉप is intended as a positive place. You're meant to celebrate and share the things you're a प्रशंसक of, not दिखाना dislike.

However, when there was rating before fanning, it was possible to give a low rating (1 या 2 out of 5). I think the negative use of that feature was one of the reasons it got changed.

I think a dislike button, if it existed, would just be misused. There's a difference between disliking content because it's badly made/lacking credit या keywords/claiming someone else's work as your own, and simply disliking content based on its subject. But I'm sure the majority would dislike content just because they dislike the character या pairing या fandom involved.

And as others have pointed out, this place is FANpop. You're meant to focus on what you're a प्रशंसक of, not what you're not a प्रशंसक of. In theory just ignoring/not fanning the content आप don't like ought to differentiate between it and the stuff which is liked, anyway, because the और positive things out to have और fans, favourites and टिप्पणियाँ (but that doesn't work in practice because so many क्लब्स are ghost towns या only have one active member).

There is one now, my friend, 3 years later. Well, not one but two buttons, both thumbs up and thumbs down button, only on this modern Fanpop, and none of them is red या green द्वारा color. Looks like आप got your wish, my friend. Now, everybody can dislike you, या me, simply द्वारा hitting that thumbs down button. Hope you're happy now. :-P

I feel like that would cause so much drama. Also YouTube's dislike feature is useless anyways. आप can click dislike but it doesn't do anything so idk why they even have it.

फैन्पॉप in particular it would strike me as odd to have a dislike button because it's FANpop. The whole spirit of the site is to like stuff आप like not hate on stuff that आप don't.

Most of the dislikes I’ve gotten on my YouTube वीडियो have been on the ones where I had a very unpopular opinion about something. And the people who disliked them seldom gave me a reason why (outside of “You’re an idiot to believe that”). If आप really dislike या disagree with something explain why. If it’s poorly done tell the person how they can improve. If आप disagree with their point of view give your reasons. But in my opinion a dislike button doesn’t do a lot of good.

But to answer your question, I think they’ve decided that having just a ‘like’ button is an effective way of rating content without having to deal with the abuse of a ‘dislike’ button. And, as I कहा before, people can still express their negative opinions towards content they don’t like.
