I haven't had reviews on my stories that are too crazy (I think I've left some pretty loopy ones on other's stories...), but the following fairly हाल का review I received from a certain lovely 'akatsuki प्रशंसक KYAAAA' made me laugh: "i command आप not to be busy and finish this wonderful story, या i shall hunt आप down and force आप to...have a nice day"
I think the craziest one was where a reviewer telling me my story was a piece of crap and I was a sucky writer. I asked him/her why, and s/he कहा because my story ended on a cliff-hanger.
I'd spent the last three chapters reminding people (it was also on my profile) that I'd be लेखन a sequel to the story. A sequel that -- at the time of the review -- was already half-way done.

लोल a cliff hanger shows how constructed a story is actually. I'm a wizard at that. I प्यार ending my chapters on cliffhangers. But you'll always have folks that DO NOT read author's notes...
Me too…I प्यार लेखन cliffhangers, not just on fanfiction.net, but on my stories here. I'll end it on a total cliffhanger, then be a b*tch and wait like 3-4 weeks to post the अगला chapter >:D The story I'm working on now, the ending will be a cliffhanger, and I never intend on लेखन a sequel. I feel pretty damn evil for that. :D
I write M rated stuff. It shows in the story ratings. I warn my readers in my author's notes.
One day, I had a review after a rather steamy scene involving a blowjob and the reviewer wrote to me that this was utterly disgusting !
It amused me to no end as I don't think that blowjobs are that dirty (honestly). I replied to them that the story was M rated, that they had been warned and after several chapters of "adult" situations (whether sex या violence), I expected my readers to दिखाना an equally "adult" reaction.
I usually bet on people's intelligence and maturity. But it happens I'm sometimes wrong.
I got another one, funny this time, about a HP fanfic pairing Severus with an OFC, but without Harry, Ron & Hermione. A reader wrote me a lovely review, after something like 50 chapters (there are 138 chapters in that story), stating that they had just realized there was no Harry at all ! It amused me a lot too and I kindly replied to them that I had specified this in my notes. The review was positive but the way the reader wrote their review was fun to read.

It also annoyce me that people write hateful reviews of M rated stories. They should have read the authors note. Those people are just ignorant and annoying.
Well, that review in particular was not hateful. But it showed that the person that had written it had had either a bad experience as far as sex is concerned, या was totally immature sexually speaking. I don't like slash, I'm not into it, then I don't read. I agree with you, what is downright annoying is when readers don't read author's notes.
What reviewers write about स्लैश fiction is downright hurtful! I haven't written any स्लैश fics myself, but I do enjoy them -- and why not? Homosexual relationships are just as meaningful and passionate as heterosexual ones in both the real world and the fic world - just because suddenly some of the characters you've thought of as straight in your head are being portrayed as gay doesn't mean the लेखक is doing anything repulsive!! And some of the most wonderful revelations about a character can come out in स्लैश fiction! =)
I agree. What is painful is that people that don't like a particular kind of literature (slash, for example), still read these stories and flame down the writer because they don't like the story on account of its genre ! If one doesn't like a type of story, then they should not read it and spare nasty reviews to the author.
