She is so much more relaxed around jacob and can be herself without worrying. sometimes with Edward i thinks she's a bit too self-conscious. anyone agree?

I agree! I think she can be free with jacob to do whatever she wants, while with edward she has to control her desires! Besides, she and Jacob match!! He's her sun, i cannot accept why she doesn't stay with him! I became very angry when i finish reading eclipse! I guess you can see that! :)

I picked Edward's Bella (Vampire) because I just flat out think Bella is much better with Edward anyways. I have to disagree with the two before me, Bella can obviously be herself with Edward. I mean she married the guy, she told him many more things she NEVER told Jacob, her choice was Edward. Appearntly she felt like she could rely and be herself around Edward. Edward does not "control" her, he is a little over pertective but he SO many times tells her to choose for herself, and lets her do her own thing. I for one find it HIGHLY attractive he cares so much about Bella to actually give her all she wants, tries to protecter her from the werewolves (which FYI how was he supposed to know they wouldn't actually hurt Bella? I mean do any of you remember the female human who marride a werewolf?) and Edward is her own personal shield. He would give himself for her. Anyone that says Edward is a pig is just sick!

I agree with Abilei, Edward is sweet enough to give Bella anything she wants, which shows how much he loves her. And the fact that he agrees to put up with her for eternity amazes me.

But I like her better as a vampire than human. -she fits in with the family, -she stops stuttering/stumbling over half of her words, -she looks better completly when she is turned.

Anyway, Jacob and Leah should be together, he could so tame her.
