OF course I shall not pretend to consider it any matter for wonder, that the extraordinary case of M. Valdemar has excited discussion. It would have been a miracle had it not — especially under the circumstances. Through the desire of all parties concerned, to keep the affair from the public, at least for the present, या until we had farther opportunities for investigation — through our endeavors to effect this — a garbled या exaggerated account made its way into society, and became the स्रोत of many unpleasant misrepresentations; and, very naturally, of a great deal of disbelief.
It...

Some still believe that reincarnation is a hoax. Even though this phenomenon is not foreign to many it still holds some terror and definitely mystery for those who flee from the idea. But, even in Poe's work he refuses to believe that when one is dead he या she is dead eternally. Being a huge प्रशंसक of E.A. Poe since age 9, I decided to write an authoritative work on the subject and base it entirely on known evidence, that is, evidence that can be verified. I welcome any प्रशंसक of Poe to read the 159 page non-fiction work and answer with their sentiments या critique.

One of the superb stories of Poe that relates to reincarnation (aka 'Transmigration') is 'A Tale of The Ragged Mountains.

Let's see if I have done Mr. Poe honor.

द्वारा a route obscure and lonely,
Haunted द्वारा ill एंन्जल्स only,
Where an Eidolon, named NIGHT,
On a black सिंहासन reigns upright,
I have reached these lands but newly
From an ultimate dim Thule --
From a wild weird clime that lieth, sublime,
Out of अंतरिक्ष -- out of TIME.

Bottomless vales and boundless floods,
And chasms, and caves, and Titan woods,
With forms that no man can discover
For the dews that drip all over;
Mountains toppling evermore
Into seas without a shore;
Seas that restlessly aspire,
Surging, unto skies of fire;
Lakes that endlessly outspread
Their lone waters -- lone and dead, --
Their...

THE "Red Death" had long devastated the country. No pestilence had ever been so fatal, या so hideous. Blood was its अवतार and its सील, मुहर -- the redness and the horror of blood. There were sharp pains, and sudden dizziness, and then profuse bleeding at the pores, with dissolution. The scarlet stains upon the body and especially upon the face of the victim, were the pest ban which shut him out from the aid and from the sympathy of his fellow-men. And the whole seizure, progress and termination of the disease, were the incidents of half an hour.

But the Prince Prospero was happy and dauntless and...

     It was many and many a साल ago,
In a kingdom द्वारा the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom आप may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to प्यार and be loved द्वारा me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom द्वारा the sea;
But we loved with a प्यार that was और than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a प्यार that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom द्वारा the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful
Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her...

Once it smiled a silent dell
Where the people did not dwell;
They had gone unto the wars,
Trusting to the mild-eyed stars,
Nightly, from their azure towers,
To keep watch above the flowers,
In the midst of which all day
The red sun-light lazily lay.
Now each visitor shall confess
The sad valley's restlessness.
Nothing there is motionless --
Nothing save the airs that brood
Over the magic solitude.
Ah, द्वारा no wind are stirred those trees
That palpitate like the chill seas
Around the misty Hebrides!
Ah, द्वारा no wind those clouds are driven
That rustle through the unquiet Heaven
Uneasily, from morn till even,
Over the violets there that lie
In myriad types of the human eye --
Over the lilies there that wave
And weep above a nameless grave!
They wave: -- from out their fragrant tops
Eternal dews come down in drops.
They weep: -- from off their delicate stems
Perennial tears descend in gems.

FOR the most wild, yet most homely narrative which I am about to pen, I neither expect nor solicit belief. Mad indeed would I be to expect it, in a case where my very senses reject their own evidence. Yet, mad am I not - and very surely do I not dream. But to-morrow I die, and to-day I would unburthen my soul. My immediate purpose is to place before the world, plainly, succinctly, and without comment, a series of mere household events. In their consequences, these events have terrified - have tortured - have destroyed me. Yet I will not attempt to expound them. To me, they have presented little...

As the trio of officers tore at the planks, they soon became acutely aware that और than just three lone people were working to get the body out- there was a fourth force, and this force was coming from the undersurface of the floor, where only the supposed corpse lay.
When they should have been seeing simply a hodge podge of gruesome pieces of an elderly man, they instead saw something far worse. They saw the stuff of nightmares as a zombie of sorts comprised of the shredded pieces jumped out at the men and quickly snapped their necks and threw them to the side- for they weren't his intended...
