lolaminer I looked it up, and yes the female does kill and eat the male as soon as the mating ritual is done. Unfortunatly male spiders don't live as long as the females because they are much smaller.

THE SCENERIE:
Courtney is not a spoiled child. She is 18 years old and she worked hard to become a homicide detective... She is not a homicide detective yet but she was in her way, she was helping in some cases and actually she had already arrest some criminals so she was good at it.
Her uncle was the captain of the department and he let her work in the cases...

Duncan is a delinquent and, of course, is Courtney´s age. He has been in jail too many times to mention and his personality is exactly the same. He has family but he never talks about them. He´s member of a gang qhere Geoff is too.
