I'm not ashamed to say that I'm a Dixie Chicks post-controversy fan. Country music is admittedly not high on my list, although that's not to say I hadn't listened to them previously. In fact, I liked some of the Dixie Chicks' songs prior to the London hullabaloo but it was in watching (and listening) to their response that made me say that I am a fan.

love them pre controversy! but its interesting how they have reinvented themselves as artists. im still a fan post controversy, maybe moreso. i do like country but was ashamed how the country industry turned their back on them for one comment! it's good to see them come into the main frame of music, and now they have a wider audience and a larger group of fans that they never would have had had they stayed solely in the realm of country.

I was a hugh fan loved the "earl had to die" vid. I have all their cd's and I even saw them when they were travelling playing bars, what was funny they had just won their first cma and then they had tour canada as bar band.

i liked them before, but am not a Country music fan at all, so they were not on top of my list. I loved the album "Home", but it is the contorversy and the way they handled it all that has turnrd me into a fan. I just saw the documentary "Shut up & sing" and am appalled at how they were treated.

Their new album is a very nice change in style. I love how they have evolved in their music and as artists. I really hope that they will tour Germany one day, so that I get to see them live.

I think everybody has a right to say what they believe and the dixie chicks has a right too I love their music I will listen to their music know matter what I think they say what most people would love to say and I'm one of them

I have always liked them, love them now. I am a vietnan vet then National Guard, activated in 03, was in the army about 7 months. I am a proud American. I will show my military records any time to any one. The Chicks are Great

The Chix are the greatest group in CW history. They were that way before the right wing manufactured controversy and will be that way forever.
