Chapter 25—The Attack

    The road curved a few और times, and Cruella looked carefully on either side of her to check for the puppies. Horace and Jasper followed her, their truck swerving backward and आगे uncontrollably and making lots of little noises. Fortunately though, neither of them succeeded in seeing the puppies, and the coast was clear for them to come out.
    “So,” Scamp asked. “How do we get home?”
    “Oh, that’s easy,” Tramp stated. “We’ve been there ourselves to catch you… follow us home.”
    “Okay,” Patch stated, but then, all of a sudden, a voice came from the bushes.
    “A-ha, I found you! All of आप nasty things!”
    “Oh no,” Lady cried. “It’s…”
    “Buster,” Tramp stated annoyed. “What do आप want?”
    “Revenge,” Buster stated simply. “I don’t take too kindly to being sent to the pound द्वारा kids, especially traitors.”
    “Sent to the pound?” Perdita asked.
    “Yes,” Buster scathingly added. “They betrayed me, even my girl,” he indicated toward Angel.
    “Did आप really?” Peg asked Angel, impressed. “Why, that’s…”
    “And who’s this?” Buster asked menacingly, and then he drawled, “Ha ha… it’s Scruffs’s old girlfriend. And why are आप here?”
    But then he paused… “Oh, ho, ho, I should’ve known…that suaveness… that blonde fluffy coat… that puffy tail… those bright blue eyes…I should’ve known आप were related.”
    Peg nodded proudly. “Angel’s not your girl, Buster, she’s mine,” Peg stated boldly. “Now why don’t आप leave us alone…”
    “I will,” Buster stated, “Once I get your daughter and the rest of those nasty brats.”
    “No,” Peg stated simply. “Don’t even think about it.”
    “Too bad,” Buster stated. “Well, maybe if आप were to be my girl…you don’t have a guy, do you…Scruffs is dead. Nobody else will ever प्यार you.”
    “No thank you,” Peg drawled, glaring at Buster. “Now get lost.”
    “Buster, however, instead, prepared to swipe at the group. “Ah well, I know exactly what will happen to you…” And then abruptly, Buster barked as loud as he could.
    “I don’t understand…” Lady asked. “You can…”
    “I’m trying to get आप twits in trouble,” Buster added. “Look, I know that Cruella is after your furs… I barked while those little runts were trying to escape to alert Cruella. I’ve got nothing to fear, I have no कोट to lose. But once she sees आप all, you’ll be sorry. In the mean time though, I can attack my प्रिय targets.”
    Then, Buster lunged abruptly at Angel, who gasped.
    “Come on,” Scamp whispered. “Hurry…”
    The two of them ran far and fast, Buster missing narrowly, before he growled, “We’re not done yet!”
    “Do आप think we should follow them?” Lady asked worriedly.
    Tramp shook his head, “We can’t…. I don’t know where they’ve got to.”
    “And besides, we need to protect our puppies,” Perdita added. “They’re the ones who are in the most danger from Cruella… she likes to get to the Dalmatians most”
    Meanwhile, a few hundred yards away, Scamp and एंजल were hiding in a pair of bushes while Buster was loudly yelling, “I know you’re here somewhere! आप can’t hide!”
    “What should we do?” Scamp whispered to Angel, worried.
    “Hmm…” एंजल whispered.
    Then, the honking car horn caused Scamp and एंजल to flinch. “Oh no!” Scamp stated.
    “Cruella!” एंजल gasped.
    “Aha!” Buster declared. “I got you!”
    “Oh no,” Scamp gasped. “We have to run!”
    Then, all of a sudden, Scamp saw a little wooden bridge over a small river. He whispered to Angel, “Hey, we can पार करना, क्रॉस this… and he might not be able to.”
    Angel smiled. “Good thinking, tenderfoot,” she whispered. “I’ll have some fun with him… आप look for the others.”
    Scamp and एंजल then slowly walked toward the bridge, confusing Buster.
    “Why aren’t आप running away? You’re not scared yet?” Buster stated threateningly.    “No need to be,” Scamp stated indifferently.    
    “Oh, why would I be scared of you,” एंजल stated. “You’re such a sweetheart.”
    “Oh,” Buster stated, with a thoroughly confused tone in his voice. “But…you’re saying…” Buster asked.
    “I don’t know… maybe I want to be your girl after all,” एंजल smiled deviously at Buster. “You’re awfully handsome…”
    Scamp, meanwhile, was crossing the little bridge, which rocked with great tension under his weight. He smiled as it did so, and made his way onto the other side. He gave एंजल a triumphant look, and एंजल smirked.
    “I don’t know,” एंजल drawled. “Maybe I want to शामिल होइए आप again… I have contact with all of the other junkyard कुत्ता and can reassemble our gang quickly.”
    “Can आप really?” Buster asked. “I’d get power…power!!!”
    “Oh yes,” एंजल stated. “You’ll have lots of power. Follow me,” she stated as she hurriedly trotted across the bridge, taking great care not to make it rock. “And I might as well kill this traitor before we assemble.” She then proceeded to tackle Scamp and pin him to the ground.
    “Angel, what are आप doing?” Scamp asked.
    “Killing you, of course,” एंजल aggressively stated.
    “But… our parents! And Peg?” Scamp asked.
    Buster looked delighted. “That’s it, baby,” Buster stated. “Let me finish the work.”
    But as Buster began to पार करना, क्रॉस the bridge…
    Crash!
    “Aah! What’s this!” Buster screamed.
    “Fooled ya!” एंजल stated delightedly.
    “Wahoo! Goodbye!” Scamp stated happily.
    Then, a rustling came from the bushes. “Scamp, Angel, you’re back!” Lady stated excitedly.
    “Yeah, we took care of Buster,” Scamp told them.
    “Why, you’re amazing,” Lady stated delightedly. “I shouldn’t have worried about आप so much! Guess who we found,” Lady added in a tone of delight.
    “Who?” Scamp asked.
    “Follow me,” Lady stated, with a large smile as she made her way through the bushes. Scamp and एंजल followed, and the three of them found themselves on a large hill. And there, in the forest was…
    “Oh Scamp, Angel, welcome back,” Patch stated delightedly. “These are my pets.”
    Penny, standing nearby, whispered, “That’s my master Roger. His wife is here too, her name’s Anita.”
    The four of them were standing outside of a large car. In the back half of the car already stood Lucky, Pongo, Perdita, and Tramp. They looked pleased with Lady’s return with Scamp and Angel. Patch and Penny then jumped into the car, signaling to Roger and Anita it was time to leave.
    “Well, I guess Roger’s right,” Anita stated. “I can’t believe we found them… after all this time.”
    But just as they got into the back of the car, there came a wild honking.
    “Oh no!” Perdita whispered. “Cruella.”
    “Should we leave?” asked Anita.
    “Yes,” Roger stated, but just as he started the car, एंजल prevented the सूँ ढ, ट्रंक from getting closed.
    “Angel, what is it?” Scamp asked.
    “We can’t leave yet,” she stated firmly, and then she jumped out of the car. Peg was sleeping द्वारा the rocks.
    “Hey,” एंजल whispered. “Mom, let’s get going.”
    “But… I’m a सड़क, स्ट्रीट dog,” Peg stated confusedly. “I don’t have a home.”
    “You’re one of the family,” एंजल told her firmly. “Come with us.”
    “Well,” Peg drawled, but then she nodded. एंजल and Peg jumped into the back, but just as they did so, a louder honk than ever pervaded the scene. Cruella stuck her head out of the window, and declared, “There आप are!”
