I love her so much because she is a lot like me. She's is the odd ball who loves to dream, read, and who would love to have amazing adventures. Plus, she is a romantic as well. Just shows when she is reading the fairy tale book of hers, which was a romance. Or had romance in it. I'm a lot like that. I love romance as much as I love fantasy. Also, she stands up for herself and her loved ones. She doesn't let anyone push her and her family around. I just love everything about her. Even her flaws. And yes she does have them. She does make bad choices, like going into the West Wing for example. She is smart, but not a genius. Which means she is human and not perfect. 	maryksand picked She's nothing special.: I don't hate her, I do like some of her traits such as being compassionate and being able to see behind the mask, but in general I find her to be a rather dull character in terms of her storyline, I don't see any sort of development throughout the movie for her at all, she is the same person in the beginning and in the end, she doesn't go on an emotional journey, all her obstacles come from outside forces and she is not the best person to fight them, because in the end others end up doing that for her: Beast is saving her from the wolves in the forest, then there comes that rather offensive "stupid" village people wanting to kill Beast because some narcissistic brat like Gaston told them so scene and we are supposed to buy Belle as the smartest one when the truth is that she cannot even talk her own neighbours out of killing her friend/future lover.
