1.He changed his whole personality(his whole view) for her and went against law and his own people.
2.He risked his life for Pocahontas' father.Understand?For her father.
3. He wanted to stay to Virginia inspite of being wounded just to be with her.

Philip: He was ready to go against tradition to marry Aurora and he had to kill a dragon to get to her.

He dedicated himself to Pocahontas and almost died for her.
I didn't pick him because I like him, I like him because of the things above.

Aladdin really needed Jasmine to change his life, same with Naveen.

He had to learn to be a decent, civil person. Also, they progressed from being enemies to friends to romantic...he also had to fight for her later.

like miles away a thief can sacrifice his own life, can make an unselfish decision. He totally deserves Rapunzel without any doubt
