	jemgrl323 picked Ariel: definitely not aurora or snow white because that would defeat the whole purpose of the story. the story was that an evil person poisoned/cast a spell on a pure and innocent princess and then only the kiss of her true love the prince could save her. if the story went that an evil person cast a spell on her and then she just stayed dead....evil would have triumphed and it would just be a sad story. but i'm going to go with ariel for similar reasons to alafastanzio. i didn't know the original story was that "she refused to kill Eric for the chance to return to her family" but if that is the case....then her death would increase the nobility of the story. it would demonstrate that no matter what an evil person may try to do...they can never force you to become evil. she would sacrifice her life for love and thus make it a story of heroism and bravery. if snow white or aurora died- their story would be evil triumphing the good in this world. posted एक साल से अधिक पुराना.

	jemgrl323 picked Ariel: or possibly belle... since the story of beauty and the beast is criticized as demonstrating the cycle of domestic abuse in a faulty way. it tells young girls that if a man is mean to you and hits you and is cruel to you and your family- if you just act really sweet and care for him, eventually he will give up his evil ways and love you. so a more realistic moral would be: if a man is mean to you and hits you and is cruel to you and your family, there is nothing you can do that will make him change since his problems are internal and really have nothing to do with you, so it's best to get out of the situation before you get even more hurt. so if belle were to die (especially at the hands of the beast), the moral of the story would actually be a better moral (the cycle of abuse is much deeper than just changing someone by being sweet to them and loving them) but unfortunately it would make it a dark and somber story. (btw i love beauty and the beast! so i'm not trying to say it's a bad movie! and i love all the disney princesses) posted एक साल से अधिक पुराना.

But seeing as the actual historical higure that she is based on died at a resonably young age then they could kill her off.. or something?
