This is something I did way back that I forgot about until I decided to look through some of my old polls. It’s similar to that favorite song countdown I did where there were different types of songs, only for this it’s different types of outfits/dresses.

Here’s the list of different types:

Sounds fun! I have an idea for another category: Event. Examples are Jasmine’s purple dress for the ceremony and Merida’s light blue dress for when the clans arrive.

Honestly, can you read minds? I was recently thinking during the wedding dress countdown that it is kind of unfair that we usually pit ball gowns against regular dresses….

I am not sure why you have final battle as category...It's not like they redress specifically for the final battle...

How about doing a category for costumes, disguises and cloaks? This way you can add the costume from PatF and Belles dress with cloak into the mix. Hell, you can throw in Jasmine's red outfit, too, since it is pretty much a "slave costume". And Mulan's outfit would be covered with ending dresses….

Btw, I wanted to add winter clothes, but technically there are only two sets of winter clothes and they are both worn by belle...so I am not sure how much sense the category makes...

Also everybody I'm planning to use SOME sequel dresses like Pocahontas' winter dress and her ballgown. If there's any dresses anyone wants to suggest let me know, I just ask you don't send me every sing dress all the princesses wore in the sequels

I am pretty sure she is already wearing those clothes when she rides into the city...I mean, she could hardly ride in as a soldier, could she?

What exactly is the difference between "dancing" and "events"? I mean, I know what the difference is, but don't those categories overlap each other?

Should Ariel’s shell bra and Pocahontas’ normal dress be in the final battle list? I think Mulan has two pairs of pajamas, one at the beginning and one at the training camp. Also does Aurora’s peasant dress count as a disguise, since she was hiding as a commoner?

Yes Bb210 it is my second favorite cinderella dress with my favorite cinderella hairstyle.

cruelle I wouldn't really count the Briar Rose one as a disguise because technically she didn't know she was in disguise, I would use Ariel's and Pocahontas' dresses for the final battle but they weren't different from the regular outfits or the other outfits in the movie. At least with Belle she has a cloak over her dress. Thank you for reminding me about the second set of pjs!

and Disneyotaku is there anything special about the dress exactly? It's been years since I saw the movie so I forgot what she wore it for

She wore it to try to learn how to be and act like a princess in the first story of Cinderella 2 BB2010.

I just remembered, we see child Tiana in pajamas when she wishes on the star. So that should fall under both the “Worn as a child” and “PJs” categories.

Can't Aurora's dress with the cloak count as a disguise? I mean the fairies try to hide her until she reaches the castle….but having it under cloak is great, too. (and yes, it is a cloak, no question there).

This sounds very complicated with a long-running set-up of countdown polls. But if you can handle it, I'm game to participate.

To be included in events; Cinderella’s Yellow Royal Fair Opening dress from Cinderella 2 and her Aquamarine Royal Banquet Ball gown from Cinderella 2. Also Jasmine’s Purple dinner outfit from Return of Jafar, the special evening dinner where the Sultan announces Aladdin’s (short-lived) new role at the Palace.

It would be interesting to do the Events from this view; Events that might include dancing on the side but the primary function is something more important in terms of Royal announcements or Royal Political engagements, hosting Royal Banquets and Foreign Diplomatic missions. Plus it be something new, something that we haven’t done before or not in a very long time.

@wavesurf this is something I can totally handle, I was able to do that super long heroine in the lineup list and I did a countdown similar to this only it was songs (intro songs, friend songs, reprise, etc)

Alright guys I'm thinking I'm all good on categories! (15 counting a final countdown for the winner of each category) If there's any more dresses I'm missing let me know! I might start this either tonight of tomorrow

Btw...then you write Auroras dress, you mean with shawl, right? I always felt that the distinction with or without shawl isn't necessary since it is the same dress she just lays the shawl by the side at one point.

P.S. What do you think about that cinderella dress that i recomended you to put in this countdown and the hairstlye she uses with it.

If capes are being counted as well, Mulan wears one with her armor.

Out of curiosity BB210 friend of what you are not huge fan of the dress, the hairstyle or both.

Apparently, I stand corrected. She just has a short bandanna-type cloth tied around her neck, while the higher ranking solders, like Shang, have actual capes. Sorry about that.

Cinderella has two pink dresses in Cinderella 2. The dusky pink dress needs to be in one of the lists. She wears it when returning to castle after the couple’s wedding or honeymoon. It doesn’t really serve any purpose other than being a travelling dress. It’s a brief scene.

It is that one that Prudence insist PrincessAyeka because i recommended it to BB2010 to put it.
