I don't agree with going out of your comfort zone. I also don't understand Merida's.

Let it be know that I didn't write these, I only found them. When I was looking for new poll ideas whilst on Pinterest.

This is a lie to me. No matter how hard I have ever worked...my dreams just were...you know, stuff I envisioned in my head.

Hard work and determination alone is not ever enough. You need God, serious luck, and connections (which means a huge network of other people) to get where you want to be. So this means Tiana's moral should have been: hard work is not the only thing to life, as you will need other people in your life to achieve success.

Also, Merida's moral/ motto is so vague and obscure. I look into my "fate within" and I see nothing at all. It isn't lack of bravery, so much as acknowledging that life almost always throws curve balls at you.

And I actually agree with Punzie's movie motto. It is so definitely true. You will have to learn to live outside of your comfort zone if you hope to survive.

Merida's motto is too enigmatic and confusing to be a good motto.

^I agree. None of those lessons are really bad for me. They're all good.

Stepping outside her comfort zone was just sneaking out to go to a celebration she was forbidden to go to (like a grounded kid who goes to a forbidding party) and rationalizing it, so not this. I don't care for the message in general anyway. Doing it's not going to improve your life inherently.

I don't even understand what Merida's lesson means. "Your fate lives within you" - a bit vague, and how is someone supposed to be brave enough to see it? It really confuses me.
