Since I have volunteered to make banner for Merida's Fans for Meet the princess fan article:

I wanted to opinions from all since I;m new in making icons and banners and I know there are far better skilled fans who can make stunning banners. I'll appreciate everyone's honest opinion and won't mind at all, if none of these works. I can attempt more, or if it won't be possible, I can request some other fans to help me with it.

Man this was hard! I LOVE THIS ONE TOO! I love the gorgeous close up of her eyes, hair and bow, with nature as the backdrop; I love the incorporation of the will-o-the-wisp; and I love that quote outline picture!

I also love Banner 2 with the awesome quote! It's such a gorgeous blend of Merida's femininity with her tomboyness. I LOVE IT! It highlights her unique balance<3 and I love the tree within her hair, gorgeous touch! This was a very close second pick, almost tied.

I also love Banner 1. Not as much as the other 2 but I do love it. I love what you were doing with the dots and showcasing Merida's gorgeous locks! <3 Beautiful sunrise colors too. :D

Banner 4 is the only one that I'm not a big fan of. :)

I think this one is the best :) Banner 3 is also great <3

@laylstepford: WOW, i never thought i'd get positive response and that too this much flattering. I'm so happy that you could pick out the things that i was trying to achieve in banner 3 - that was totally the intent, to bring elements that represents Merida the most, and things that were the catalyst in her change <3
Thank you sooo much for acknowledging and appreciating it. It means a lot to me!!! <3 I was kinda afraid to submit my banner to your forum and that's why did a poll first instead. Though, I see many people find the banners not that appealing. But positive comments have really boosted my confidence!
I'll try and improve the level of image making :)

@euny: oh wow! it means a lot to see your comment, i love all your icons and how much effort you put in making all the images that you do. I'm so impressed with your skills, I;m always trying to match yours and sparklefairy, tiffany, ntmfan, abcjkl... I love all your icons so much! <3

Oh, yeah. I could definitely tell your intent and I loved it. <3 :D I'm sure if every banner was put to a vote and had an option for none, that there would be some people who choose it. The banner should reflect Merida's top fans, not all DP fans though so I wouldn't worry about it. I think the people who like Merida like your banners since no one commented and said anything like "I like Merida but none of these reflect her personality etc." I really think the banners are all lovely and I admire the intent in each. I really think you should follow your instincts on making her image, you have a deeper understanding for her than most. :D

By the way, just out of curiosity, what does "OSM" mean? I'm not a computer-lingo person, just regular semi-proper American English.

I hope you don't think I'm overstepping any boundaries here but I'd like to offer a suggestion, if you don't mind? I adore Banner 3 as you know but I had a thought that it would be really adorable if the middle photo of Merida with the will-o-the-wisp was her as a toddler with the will-o-the-wisp. Her face lights up so much with such joy and innocence in that scene. Just a thought from my incredibly biased mind towards the undeniably adorable toddler Merida. I think her & Anna are the cutest little toddlers ever.<3

@laylastepford: I don't mind your suggestion at all, this is the reason that i put up the poll, to get suggestions from other fans. Yours is very much welcomed! I'll definitely try one with Merida as kid, i agree that she and Anna are jut bubble of energy and adorable little toddlers ever!

I'm so glad that you didn't take it the wrong way. I just wanted to offer that because personally, I cant help it but every time I see toddler Merida it just warms my heart. That's why I just thought I'd share. :)

If i weren't upto suggestions, i wouldn't have posted the poll :D But thanks for sharing, i love her as toddler too, she's a spitting image of my childhood, barring the red hair, but curly all the same<3
