Both, I guess. My biggest DP role model is Cinderella (time I start trying to act more like her, btw).

Mine Role Models are Rapunzel Tiana and Belle :)

To be honest a little bit of both

wow, I never thought of it like that. Cinderella as SOME qualities I like but for the most part I think she has the old-fashioned moral strengths society is painfully lacking. Snow especially, and she's different from me.

Cinderella. I wish I was more patient and hopeful.

I think both traits apply because Tiana's determination, tenacity, dedication to her dream, etc. are traits that both I and society at large seems to lack. Being "too hard working" is not what most people say of today's youth and generation.

Kindness has always been "devalued" in the world. I've lived long enough to notice the "sign of the times" as each succeeding generation of Disney Princesses becomes less and less concerned with kindness. We are now so far away from the values of Snow White's "kindnesses" and the quality of "giving people a chance" with the likes of Merida, Elsa, and Tiana who simply "cut people no slack at all."

And it's not like I actually want to be picking fights with fanpop users, but Disney has literally NOT been a leader on anything. They've simply followed what "the masses" seem to have dictated as "the right thing," and stopped adhering to the Brother's Grimm value system, or any other old fairy-tale value system that existed.

I've never truly tried to emulate a DP, possibly because I thought it could not be done. All I ever did was admire certain universal characteristics in characters, and have knee-jerk negative reactions to mean characters.

And now, I just don't want anymore Disney Princesses joining the lineup, because the lineup is now "so reprocessed" that much of the good messaging is lost. What is promoted is old, tired, and boring. And the rest of the morals are now almost complete garbage from my perspective.
