But yeah, this Is really frustrating me. I'm all for respecting opinions, but she is getting a lot of hate.

^more like her movie. she herself gets a lot of praise for being adventurous, arrow-shooting, rule-breaking tomboy (basically the ideal girl in our culture) and not having a love interest.

I am one of her haters so I think she deserves the hate she's getting.

Her movie deserves the hate because Pixar promised us a kicka** movie and they LIED! However Merida is an AWESOME character and doesn't deserve the hate she gets.

I don't think there's anything wrong with us discussing our feelings on her joining before she actually does. When she joins, it'll just be annoying. And I'm with AudreyFreak, Merida is strongly praised and it's Brave that's getting the hate. Most of the complaints against the character on here have to do with her joining the lineup.

She's doesn't get as much hate at the other princesses do because she's newer it's mainly her movie that gets the hate.

I hate her movie and despise her which irritates me that I don't like her because I've never really hated a cartoon before :L I'm with MissAngelPaws.

It's one thing to discuss the characters and the movies, it's another thing to be constantly bashing in a character when they're not even part of the line up yet! It's rediculous, and it's everywhere O_o

I'm more tired of people trying to include in everything...she hasn't officially joined yes, why can't they wait a little bit? Especially since the so called hate is mostly "I don't want her in the line-up because I don't think that she fits", nothing more. There are a lot of Disney characters I very much like...I have a soft spot for Jane, for example. That doesn't mean that I want them in the line-up. She wouldn't fit.

Even though I an against her joining, I don't dislike or like her as a character, and I think Brave is an alright movie. People acted like Brave did badly

I agree with Swanpride regarding her inclusion into everything- she hasn't even officially joined the lineup yet and she's featured in so many polls (I'm not counting this one btw, I mean in people's lists and stuff). She was in the recent favourite Princess countdown and it just made me not want to participate - not because I dislike the character, but I think we should wait longer before we include her in stuff like that, is all.
