Frying Pans: A Scientific Explanation on the 'Weaponry' in टैंगल्ड

Alright, so ever since I saw टैंगल्ड way back when, my mind has kind of been in a tizzy over a lot of things. Mostly, my प्यार for कहा movie, Flynn Rider, and my desperate want to play Mother Gothel in any alternate productions of the movie.

But also: can frying pans really work the way they do in the movie?

I'm not one to usually harp upon factual things in movies, especially animated ones, but I figured it would be a ton of fun to figure out the mathematical (scientific? I'm not sure how to classify it, really) logical-ness behind fighting bad guys with रसोई, रसोईघर appliances.

In order to forget about everything, Merida decided to play with the babies. They sure didn't mind her company because they LOVED her! She tickled Mace's feet and he laughed. Princess Merida of the Dunbroch clan was finally turning 18! "Archers to your marks!" King Fergus called out. Merida excitedly ran to her marking point. Did the triplets not know about Gaston being the Groom?

I don't know if this has been discussed before. I was पढ़ना Internet Movie Database's message board about whether या not Belle has any फ्रेंड्स in the village. One of the posters think that the triplets are there setting up for Belle and not Gaston due to the reactions prior to Gaston दिखा रहा है up.

Since earlier on in the scene (I assume on the DVD) Triplet 2 is whispering to Triplet either 1 या 3rd triplet. That triplet covers their mouth like they;re gasping. When Gaston arrives for some reason they're all shocked. So why would they be shocked if they were setting up for Gaston?

There's also why were the triplets upset that Belle didn't accept Gaston's proposal? Shouldn't they have instead be relieved?
