 Even beautiful in my sleep!<3
Even beautiful in my sleep!<3
Hello, Aurora here (let’s just totally set aside the idea that I am लेखन this)! Is your hair dull, lifeless, या damaged? Are आप acne-prone, plain, या just need सलाह from the most beautiful girl in the kingdom? या maybe आप just don’t know your ABC’s? Well आप have come to the right expert! Read on to learn how I make my golden hair bouncy, my face flawless, and keep all of the young men chasing me (even after my marriage to Phillip)!
A is for acne (EW)! So basically, every single person that has hit puberty has encountered acne, even me! The three steps to getting rid of problem zits and breakouts are cleansing, exfoliating, and treating. Each of the steps will be described later on. Just know that when a blemish pops up on a bad day, DO NOT POP IT! If आप do, आप will end up looking like Snow White (trust me, it took a lot of powder to give her that complexion)!
B is for brushing, blush, and bronzer! First of all, brushing your hair 100 strokes a sitting is not good for it, just to get that out of the way. A brush with natural सूअर bristles is best, sense it helps distribute your hairs natural oils, which keeps it soft and shiny. Also, don’t snag at those knots! Brush hair from the bottom up, making sure to brush through tangles gently to avoid as much breakage as possible. NEVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR WET (ARIEL)! Try a wide-toothed comb instead.
Blush, though many girls don’t use it, is actually one of my प्रिय beauty products! Find one that looks natural with your skin tone, and don’t use too much (ehm Snow White)! The old trick is to smile when putting it on, to apply it evenly to the apples of the cheeks. Bring the brush up from the cheek बोन्स to the temples in a contouring motion.
Bronzer absolutely drives me CRAZY when girls don’t know how to put it on right. आप shouldn’t be able to tell that आप have powder on your face! When applied correctly to the forehead, chin, and cheek bones, आप should have a natural glow, not somehow go from Snow White to Tiana! Use a fluffy brush for best results!
C is for concealer, combs, and cleanse. Concealer, like foundation, is used to cover-up problem areas (zits, dark circles, discoloration). Finding the right tone for your skin is super important, या आप will look like आप have बिना सोचे समझे yellow dots! With that said, आप often need to blend concealer, to make sure it isn’t completely noticeable.
Fine toothed and wide toothed combs serve different purposes. If a comb has small bristles that are close together, it is best used to part the hair. Combs that have large, generously spaced teeth should be used to comb through hair. They are especially useful when hair is wet, which is its most delicate state. Please don’t be like Ariel and try to brush through your hair with a fork…
Cleansing the face is obviously one of the most important beauty या even cleanliness steps. Every princess has different skin, whether it is sensitive (Cinderella), oily (Tiana), dry (Pocahontas), या a combination (me)! Find a cleanser that is gentle and works well with your skin type. In the morning, splash your face with cold water to get blood flowing, then use warm water while washing. Rub your fingers या washcloth in a circular motion, being sure not to miss any spots!
D is for drying, diet, and deep conditioning! I quit blow drying my hair in the 7th grade, simply because it is one of the most damaging things आप can do to it on a daily basis. Constant heat scorches the strands, leaving them feeling dry, brittle, and frizzy. But if आप insist on using a blow dryer, invest in a good brand that has attachments and a “cool” setting. Towel dry hair and let it sit for twenty to thirty minutes. When hair is damp, आप may begin using your dryer, being sure to not hold it on one section for too long. Constant movement is key! It is actually best that someone assists you, so they can hold the dryer above the hair, making sure the ends receive minimal damage. ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure आप have a heat protection product in your hair BEFORE applying heat, या आप will end up looking like Jasmine!
Diet is very important. I am not talking about starving yourself, but what आप eat. Put good in your body, and आप will get good out! Go for a variety of foods, making sure आप make room for each खाना group! Protein is great for growing strong hair! I take multivitamins each morning to assure I get the proper amount needed.
Deep conditioning is an important part of keeping hair healthy, especially if hair is as nasty and damaged as Jasmine’s (slut). Depending on the amount of breakage in your hair, I recommend having a conditioning treatment once a महीना to twice a week. There are all sorts of hair masks at the stores, but as gross as this may sound, I have found the best deep conditioner for me is mayonnaise (NASTY)! Mayonnaise is packed with protein, which I mentioned above that it does wonders to your hair! But if आप do choose to take my advice, be sure आप shampoo REALLY well afterward!
E is for eyes! Ladies, eye shadow is supposed to flatter your natural shade! Not every color that looks great on a चॉकलेट brown will be passable on someone with baby-blues! Experiment with different shades and styles to find what looks right on you. HERE IS AN IMPORTANT TIP: Save daring रंग and smoky eyes for when आप go out! They can just be ridiculous at school या work. I have a friend who experimented at school with blues, greens, and one day, orange! The girls loved it, but every time a guy would talk about her he would be like “what is up with all that makeup?”
Eyeliner should be used sparingly. Sure, winged liner is cute for a girl’s night out (unless आप are Jasmine), and sometimes our eyes just need extra pop! But seriously girls, when आप cake that stuff on आप look like a raccoon…or something else that begins with an E *cough* ईमो *cough*!
I once read that brows are the curtains to our eyes, which are compared to windows. That is why, my friends, we don’t want to look like Esmerelda. I give her props, she works those caterpillars, but in real life, many of us won’t be able to! On the other side of the see-saw, over-plucked eyebrows are like torn up drapes and they just look…painful…So find peace with your eyebrows somewhere in-between. Many princess are just born with elegant, arched brows like mine, but if your name is Mulan…not so much.
A good example of what NOT to look like!:)

The first thing आप should know before proceeding is my level of what doctors call awkward disease.

I also have lack-of-proper-humor-itosis. Ha. Ha. Ha ha ha haha.

Ha.

So now that most of आप have run away in sheer terror, I'm Meredith. I sometimes pretend my name is Merida, but alas, I am stuck with my actual name.

I'm also a डिज़्नी Princess प्रशंसक to state the obvious, and I'm 13. I like टेलीविज़न and books. And food.

But Disney, man.

So um, yes. I'm new to this shindig (???) but I hope आप at least pretend to not hate me.

That's basically the sum of my existence so...

Hi?
