In 2013 फ्रोज़न took the world द्वारा (ice) storm, it was everywhere. Let it Go played on the radio constantly, आप couldn't go to a store without seeing फ्रोज़न merch, everyone was talking about it, many thought it was one of Disney's best फिल्में in a long time.

Then the backlash began...

People got sick of all the फ्रोज़न after a while, even now there's still फ्रोज़न all over the place and people tend to roll their eyes when someone even mentions Frozen. The thing is, nothing about the movie या characters had changed, it was still a good movie with a decent soundtrack, interesting characters, and beautiful animation. But with all the hype it had gotten...yeeeeah डिज़्नी really milked this फ्रोज़न cow.

When डिज़्नी announced a फ्रोज़न 2 there were some mixed reactions; groans from people who were tired of sequels and फ्रोज़न and cheers from people who hoped they would finally learn how Elsa got her powers *cough*andgetagirlfriend*cough*. When फ्रोज़न 2 came out of course tons of people went to see it and after waiting almost a month, avoiding the spoilers best I could, hearing Into the Unknown several times and how great this movie was I finally saw it and...well...here's my thoughts.

Pros:

In this movie we got to see और of the sisters with their parents in a और positive way, with the scene taking place before the "incident". Elsa and Anna play with snow figurines, the King tells a story about the एनचांटेड forest, and the क्वीन (who now has और lines) sings a lullaby to the sisters. The parents are mainly remembered for making the rashi decision of locking Elsa up and keeping her away from people, including Anna, for years so it was nice to see और scenes of them with their daughters.

We got to see even और of Elsa and Anna together, having barely seen them together in the first movie, seeing them celebrate Anna's birthday together in फ्रोज़न Fever, and a few short scenes in Olaf's फ्रोज़न Adventure. We see them playing charades, talking more, and Anna sings their mother's lullaby to Elsa to help her go to sleep. This is something I wish we could have actually seen in फ्रोज़न to even justify the fandom's belief that फ्रोज़न was the go-to "sister movie" *cough*LiloandStitch*cough* (sorry, just getting over a cold)

The एनीमेशन for this movie was beautiful, especially the ice magic, the way the leaves moved, and the purple pinkish flames. I think my प्रिय एनीमेशन sequence had to have been Into the Unknown when Elsa's magic danced around and took on different forms. My सेकंड प्रिय was दिखाना Yourself when Elsa's dress was changed similar to how her signature blue dress was created in the first movie.

Olaf's brief recap of the first movie had me laughing hard, not gonna lie.

Yay, we saw marshmallow, मार्शमॉलो and the little snowmen from फ्रोज़न Fever again!

Cons:

The twist about the Queen's past was so completely out of nowhere and makes almost no sense; for one thing, the little girl we've been seeing in the trailers looks nothing like how the क्वीन looked या even Elsa या Anna who are supposed to be the spitting तस्वीरें of their mother. And the fact that she saved the King and then just left her घर without hesitating? What about her family? How is it the people recognized the scarf and yet not discuss the young क्वीन at all? And what did the young क्वीन do after moving to the kingdom? Where did she go? Did she live with the King? Probably not because later in the movie when Elsa is watching "the past" we catch a glimpse of the King and the क्वीन as adults and she's telling him where she's from.

Olaf in the first movie was funny, his one liners could get a chuckle out of a lot of people. In this movie he's just stating बिना सोचे समझे facts and I barely chuckled at his jokes या his lines. I can understand his need to spout बिना सोचे समझे facts because, for one thing, he's only 3 years old and he's learning how to read and how to write. When young children learn things like Olaf did they tend to spout बिना सोचे समझे facts and whatever else they learned. But in this movie, it just लॉस्ट its charm after a while. And his song just put the movie in a grinding halt. While in the first movie it was charming and cute and funny and it was about a recently built Olaf wanting to see what summer was like and feel the sun on his snowy face. In फ्रोज़न 2, it was just him randomly गाना about how things would make और sense when he was older and honeslty it probably would have worked better in a short than in the actual movie.

Kristoff wanting to propose to Anna was an overdone and predictable story. There was the miscommunication, the constant failed attempts, and the arguments. Disney, come on, I thought आप were better than that.

As great as it was that we got जवाब about how Elsa got her powers it just raised और questions; Why did Elsa get frozen? What exactly was the Voice? Was it the spirits? Her mother? How could Elsa have been the 5th element if she wasn't even born yet? Etc.

While it's understandeable why Elsa kept Anna and Olaf from coming with her, why did Anna and Olaf talk about feeling upset about what happened and have it go nowhere? Why couldn't Anna talk to Elsa about how she felt about that?

What was Kristoff on when he decided to do an 80's संगीत video?

I loved the आग spirit but I was disappointed about how he got the Pua treatment; advertised a lot and on a lot of merch but then barely in the movie.

While I sometimes forget about half of Frozen's soundtrack, I can barely remember और than a handful of फ्रोज़न 2's soundtrack. I remember humming Let it Go and For the First Time in Forever the night I saw फ्रोज़न 6 years पूर्व but right now the only songs I remember at the चोटी, शीर्ष of my head is the Queen's lullaby, Into the Unknown, दिखाना Yourself, and Kristoff's song but the only reason I remember that last one is because of the reindeer drug trip.

Anna becoming क्वीन just felt so out of nowhere, there was no real discussion for it. I get that Elsa wanted to look after the forest and we know she and Anna still saw each other but still though, why make Anna becoming क्वीन such an out of nowhere and rushed thing?

The fact that we find out the guards and the villagers were trapped in the woods at war with each other for over 30 years and yet learn almost nothing about them was so dumb. We barely got any backstory on them and we never learned how the guards got left behind while the young King was able to make it घर unconscious.

How was the dam hurting the forest and the spirits?

So was this movie as good as Frozen? Honestly, from a फ्रोज़न fan...no. As excited as I was to see फ्रोज़न 2, especially with my older sister after we had just spent हैलोवीन dressed as Elsa and Anna, I felt so...bored. I saw फ्रोज़न in theaters 3 times and watched it many और times on dvd without getting bored (save for the last time I watched it a couple months ago) but this movie just feels one and done for me. This movie had interesting ideas that could have been fleshed out और but were instead rushed and left और सवालों than answers. I still प्यार फ्रोज़न but I'm thinking I'm just going to avoid this sequel. On a scale of 1-10, I give this movie a 3/10

But I will say this...Frozen 2 was much better than Ralph Breaks the Internet

Well, it's time for another लेख here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another लेख again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about डिज़्नी villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the डिज़्नी villains और than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old सवाल पोस्टेड from a साल पूर्व that inspired me to write this. The सवाल was about which डिज़्नी Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope आप guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this लेख ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in लोकप्रिय culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

Ok, so I'm going to सूची my चोटी, शीर्ष 10 प्रिय डिज़्नी Princess dresses. Since there's 10 spots, one Princess may be in the सूची multiple times and another may not be on it at all. Before my number one I will सूची honorable mentions that ALMOST made it onto my list. Time to start the list! Keep in mind that this is my opinion, and आप might not agree. Enjoy the article!

10. Belle's सोना dress

Maybe it's a tad overrated, but I think it deserves a lot of the attention it gets. It's absolutely gorgeous! Just look at it! And this is coming from someone who hates that color, and even I have to admit...

Darn. I needed a man's help to break this curse! I forgot I was scheduled to 'be a strong independent woman who needs no man' today! I'll have to reschedule for अगला time a curse makes me physically unable to save myself...

All right, this is really part analysis and half rant so if आप dislike the डिज़्नी Princesses (and if आप do I don't know why you're here!) या hate the ones who at any point need a man's help (which is all of them, but I'll get to that later), I don't recommend पढ़ना this.

I also must warn you: I discuss stuff about every princess and we have THIRTEEN NOW, so it'll be long. Feel free to skim to your favorites, though, if आप wish, to make it shorter.

A lot of डिज़्नी प्रशंसकों and critics alike accuse the Princesses, specifically the older ones, of "sitting around waiting for a prince", "waiting...

I was bored so I decided to write an लेख about which princesses look like which greek goddesses, since I'm greek and I प्यार the Greek Mythology. Enjoy!

Hera- Jasmine

Firstly, Hera has a serious problem with her temper, like Jasmine. She likes getting revenge and even though we don't see चमेली as revengeful, I believe that if someone hurts her, she won't forget it so easily (besides Aladdin, she forgives him every time, like Hera forgives Zeus). Also, Hera protects women which means she's a feminist, again like Jasmine. Another common, is thei history with their husbands. Zeus...

 Oh, I hate this one
Oh, I hate this one
I know shocking, the so called "Best movie ever" is disliked द्वारा me. I know most of आप are like "oh, this chick again here to कुतिया, मतलबी about some और stuff." But I don't care I can state my Opinions even if I present them as though they are facts. About Frozen, No, I don't just hate I because it's so लोकप्रिय but the 'hype' I dislike as well, sorry but I dislike lots of things. Is there a problem? Anyway I recently made a दीवार post hoping to find someone that could tell me WHY they liked फ्रोज़न so I could watch it with an Open mind.
