I made no secret of mine that Frozen's "Let It Go" is my प्रिय डिज़्नी song of all time and one of my प्रिय songs of all time. From my analysis of the song, to putting it as Number 1 on my "Top 5 प्रिय डिज़्नी Songs" article, to referencing in many articles, but I never talked about which version I liked the best.
Back when it premiered "Let It Go" was everywhere and even the साल after it was released it was very popular, which paved the way for numerous artists and to parody या make their own cover for the song. I'm honestly surprised that Weird Al hadn't made a parody of the song, yet; but fortunately other internet musicians did.
Let's get some things out of the way first:
One, I will include both official and fan-made covers of "Let It Go" , but only the ones I like the best.
Two, parody's of the song won't be on the list. I know I've just कहा I will also count fan-made ones too, but there are so many parody version of "Let It Go" that it deserves it's own version. Plus, I don't really like listening to parodies of songs, so I will only include the ones that use the same lyrics. I'm sorry, but आप won't be seeing "F*ck It All" on this list.
Three, this will be my opinion, so if आप disagree with me and like one version of the song better than the other one, I won't stop you. Art is subjective and we're all allowed to have our own opinions about it. And I'm sorry if I sound rude या angry on some parts.
Fourth, I've been planning on making this लेख for a while, but I first needed to find at least 10 version of this song that I like, then listen to all of them and rank them based on which one sounds the best to me, या the one that left the most impact on me.
Fifth, I won't include versions of "Let It Go" in different languages, and will only count the ones in English.
Sixth, I'll leave a link of the version at the end of my analysis of them so आप can listen to it too.
Without any further a due, let's begin:

10.The Instrumental version;
Let's start things off with a basic one, the instrumental version.

When it comes to music, there are many instances where the instruments in the background are far superior than the vocal version, या if they just want to listen to the instrumental version out of curiosity. When it comes to "Let It Go", it's the latter. Though I've seen allot of people who कहा they hated Frozen, but admitted that the instrumental is beautiful.
आप just cannot believe the amount of parodied lyrics are in the टिप्पणी दे section, usually about homework, basketball, work, etc.
And like I said, many people admitted that the instrumental is beautiful and epic, and I can agree. I once saw a commenter that कहा the instrumental was played on his grandmother's funeral.
What's also funny is hat this film and song are so ingrained now into my mind it's impossible for me to listen to this instrumental without silently mouthing the words and picturing every सेकंड of this sequence in my mind.

One of the reason why I often prefer to listen to संगीत with no vocals या lyrics is because sometimes, आप don't need to be told what to feel, when the song song can literally convey the emotion for आप with the notes, rhythm and instruments, and this one is exception. While I प्यार the original much more, this one conveys the emotion just as well.

If आप take the lyrics out, I’ve found that people who hate it tend to tolerate it more. If anything, it’s a song आप don’t like that other people can make good. Anybody can try making songs like, “Rollin” या “Stupid Hoe” better to no avail, so at least "Let It Go" is fixable. I say this because the orchestration is pure ear कैन्डी perfection even out of context. It’s sweeping, it’s epic, it’s grand, it’s complex, it’s morose, it’s happy, it’s didactic, and above all it’s an emotional release. Every moment perfectly captures this release that Elsa is going through: from lamenting her past life, timid first use of her powers, realization of freedom, declaration of freedom, all leading up to pure, ecstatic joy. That last part is most important. The audience knows that at some point Elsa is going to release her powers and that it’s going to be a pretty big deal.

There's not much left to say about it, but it is a good way to start off the list. Let's just say that I प्यार the instrumental version, but not enough to put it higher than Number 10.

9.Lucy Hale ft. Rascal Flatts from the "We प्यार Disney" album;
This one's a rather new version that I discovered a few months पूर्व when I was visiting a पुस्तकालय and saw the album "We प्यार Disney". Essentially, it's an compilation of brand new covers for लोकप्रिय डिज़्नी songs, done द्वारा modern artists. The one that caught my eyes the most, of course, is "Let It Go".

When I finally had time to listen to it, I admit, I really like it, but not as much as the others; Mainly because of Lucy Hale's singing. I've never really listened to any of Lucy Hale's music, but when I listened to her गाना in this cover, she didn't really leave a great impression, on me. Her singing's not bad. It's probably because of her voice; I just think it sounds forced with these lyrics, especially since she has a very "country music-ish" voice, which like I said, doesn't really work with these lyrics. However, what did surprise me was Rascal Flatts! Much like with Lucy Hale, I never listened to his music, but unlike Lucy, I think he did very well here and his voice sounds very nice while गाना the lyrics.
I think my प्रिय part of the song is their duet, which I think sounds very good. Like I said, I'm not really a प्रशंसक of Lucy Hale's singing, but combined with Rascal Flatts' गाना and "Let It Go" lyrics, makes for a really nice cover.
However, there is one flaw and sadly it's a major one. While I really this version, what brings it down is that, it just doesn't bring the same emotion या passion that other versions do, like the original. Don't get any wrong ideas, it still sounds great, but I just can't feel the same emotion with this version, as I do with others.
Still, I think it's a great version of "Let It Go" because there's just something about this is captivating and really shows not every time आप here "Let It Go" it has to be one way.

So yeah, it is flawed, but very enjoyable. Kudos!

8.Demi Lovato's version;
I know I'm going to have an angry mob in the टिप्पणी दे section rating bout how low I put this version, but आप have to realize, it's still a great cover, but it's far from the best.

Demi Lovato does great here. Her voice actually brings out the emotion pretty well, and her voice sounds very nice with the lyrics and the instruments.
Speaking of the instruments, combined with Demi Lovato's singing, it definitely makes the song sound और modern pop, which with today's style music, helps allot. As I कहा in my "Top 5 प्रिय डिज़्नी Songs" article, if आप don't like the original version, there's always a different version out there आप with a genre आप like. Demi Lovato's version is a perfect example of that, since it keeps the same feeling as the original did, just in a different genre and style so it can appeal to a wider audience; Especially the teenage girl demographic.

So, with all these great things, why is it only number 8? Simple.
Much like with the पूर्व version, while Demi Lovato DOES emote the feeling as others, the fact that it's a modern pop version hinders it, because to me modern pop संगीत doesn't quite invoke the same feeling as other genre's do. At least to me.
It really is just a small nitpick, but I still count it as a problem I have with the song.
Plus, I just like other versions of the song better. It's still a really good version, I just happen to like other son the list.

7.Music Box version;
Yes, we finally have our first fan-made remix of the song. This one is a rather old one because I discovered back in January of 2015.
I always loved संगीत box remixes of songs, since I always found संगीत boxes to be very soothing and lovely to listen to, and this one is no exception.
I got introduced to this song back in 2015 when I was looking at an लेख which had this song in the background. I loved the remix so much that I stayed on that site just to listen to the it.
I also remember when I woke up one day, I was feeling very sick and powerless, so I was listening to this song to calm me down.

One of the most noticeable things about this version is if आप listen closely to it, आप can hear that it's actually a संगीत box remix of the Demi Lovato version. It's probably because LittleJayneyCakes (The creator of this remix) prefers Lovato's version to the original. Now, there's nothing wrong with that because it's still "Let It Go".

I already found "Let It Go" to be a good song to listen to if आप want to relax, but in my opinion, this one does the same job much better. Like I said, it's just so soothing and calming I always feel like an baby all over again when I listen to it. Heck, if I become a parent, maybe I should use it to calm my children down.
I have nothing और to say then it's a cute version that highly recommend if आप want relax.

6.Vivaldi's Winter द्वारा The पियानो Guys;
One of my प्रिय genre's of संगीत of all time is classical, so of course I'd include a classical rendition of this song.

The cover is done द्वारा "The पियानो Guys",two famous online musicians who do remixes and covers of लोकप्रिय songs with their पियानो and cello; Sometimes even combining the song with classical tune to help make the song और powerful. In this case, they remixed "Let It Go" and combined with "Winter" द्वारा Antonio Vivaldi, and it is brilliant.
However, in order to explain this version, I also need to explain the other song they combined it with:
The first notes describe with a smooth and persistent rhythm the slow fall of the snowflakes and the fast trill of the violins describe the teeth chattering caused द्वारा the intense cold. We now listen to a gust of wind that shakes the fall of the snowflakes in the first violin solo. Little द्वारा little it increases the force of संगीत to end with a great theme.

The सेकंड movement is called Rain. It speaks to us of a man who is happy, सुरक्षित from the intense cold अगला to the heat of his chimney while he observes as the crystals of their window are struck द्वारा little drops of a winter rain, we listen to the rhythmical falling, beside this rhythm the violin solo sings a beautiful melody that describes the happiness and the heat of home.

Third movement: After a first violin solo, the orchestra appears imitating a smooth burst of wind that grows little द्वारा little until reaching great force; when finishing, the terrible winter storm arrives because of the shock of the Mediterranean winds and the snow-drifts of the North are interpreted द्वारा the violin solo and the orchestra, finishing in a beautiful ending.

“So it is the winter, but it also has great beauties”. With these words Antonio Vivaldi finishes his great creation, the cycle of the Four Seasons."

The reason I explained it is because combined with "Let It Go's " sense of loneliness and the cold, it makes for a song that perfectly captures the feeling of Winter, cold, loneliness, sadness, joy, power and mystery.

5.The Symphonic Metal Tribute to Frozen;
Okay, I'm a little but cheating on this one, but it's still contains a cover of "Let It Go", so it counts.

A lot of आप know that my प्रिय genres of संगीत are rock and classic symphony, so seeing a genre that's a combination of the two made me incredibly happy. I especially प्यार the works of a YouTuber called "The L-Train", who makes 10-20 मिनटों long symphonic metal tributes to franchises, like :Frozen; Steven Universe; Pokemon; Undertale; Legend of Zelda; etc.

His symphonic metal tribute to फ्रोज़न consists of : "Frozen Heart"; "Do आप Want to Build a Snowman"; "For the First Time in Forever"; "Vuelie" and of course "Let It Go". They all sound amazing! But we're here to talk about "Let It Go", and not the other ones.

Like I कहा before with the instrumental version, that sometimes आप don't need to listen to the vocals to understand what the song is about and emotion आप should feel, and in my eyes this exceeds in all of them.
The French horns in the background help a lot too because it gives off a really epic cinematic feeling that makes everything seem much और grand and important. Coupled with the bad नितंब, गधा sound of the गिटार and the notes of "Let It Go" and you've got a phenomenal composition.

If आप प्यार rock and classical संगीत like I do, I highly recommend this one.

4.The ग्ली version;
Now personally, I've never been a watcher of Glee, nor have I heard of it that much, besides a dew covers of song I bumped into in the past, like "Billionaire" and "Some Nights". It's only a few months after, आप guessed, I became obsessed with फ्रोज़न that I dug up information about Idina Menzel and saw that she was a guest तारा, स्टार on ग्ली a couple of times. And here's a bit of a spoiler if you've never watched it; The main character, Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) is an adopted child, and later on she find out that the character Idina Menzel played (I forgot her name) is actually her long लॉस्ट mother. But to be honest, they really should be biologically related. I mean seriously, both Idina and Lea look very alike and have very similar sounding voices.
I'm just going to say it, but Lea Michele literally is PERFECT for this song. Her and Idina Menzel are literally two peas in a pod. Their voices are so similar aside from the little nasal quality from Idina (didn't mean that in a negative way, just didn't know how else to describe it). Because of this, whenever I listen to the ग्ली version of "Poker Face" where both of them sung, I just can't help but imagine Elsa literally doing a duet with her daughter.
Actually, it does sound like Elsa's daughter is गाना this. I mean, I KNOW that Idina and Lea are not related, but still, I can't help but say "Like mother, like daughter."

3.Alex Boye (Africanized Tribal Cover) ft. One Voice Children's Choir;
I'll be honest, when in first saw this song in my recommendations, I had zero interest in it, but after listening to it, it literally became one of my प्रिय versions of the song.

They still play "Let It Go's" notes on the पियानो in the background, but combined with the African instruments and the child choir, it makes for a phenomenal rendition.

The African instruments in the background actually remind me a lot of The Lion King. While I'm not a big प्रशंसक of The Lion King, I do admit that the African संगीत in that movie sound very nice and I really enjoyed it. This cover basically has "Let It Go" with The Lion King's African music. But that's not all.
Alex Boye, while not doing much in this song except in the African parts, but he does amazingly well. His "African style" गाना (I forgot what it's called.) fits incredibly well with the instruments in the background and helps with giving the song और grandeur and power. Speaking of, the children's choir also helps to give the song और grandeur, as it makes the song feel like a gift from Gods themselves, so it must be treated with the utmost respect possible.

The lead singer girl is beyond perfect. I honestly can't believe that a little girl has such a beautiful and powerful voice like that! Her voice carries so much power and emotion with these lyrics that it could probably rival both Idina Menzel and Lea Michele.
This is probably the most powerful sounding out of any versions I've heard, and that's saying a lot considering the पूर्व and अगला versions. But it's not without any serenity, as both the beginning and in many parts of the song, there are silent and calm moments to give the song और elegance and grace.

But I know what a lot of आप are thinking: "If it's so amazing, why isn't it Number 1?" Well, let's just say the अगला two versions left a bigger impression on me.

2.The Living Tombstone dubstep remix;
I know it's a confusing choice to put a dubstep remix of "Let It Go", especially since dubstep is a संगीत genre which I despise, but this remix is special to me, since it's basically the very first version of the song that I feel in प्यार with. What do I mean द्वारा that? Well, I think this deserves some history.
Back when फ्रोज़न came out in 2013, I wasn't impressed द्वारा it, nor was I impressed with "Let It Go".
In October of 2014, on a Saturday, I came across a video where an artist drew Elsa with crayons, while a remix of "Let It Go" was playing in the background. I fell in प्यार with the remix so much that I tracked it down and I listened to it for a long while. It was so energetic and filled with energy that I couldn't stop dancing to it. I even considered it better than the original.
When I listened to the original version of "Let It Go", compered to how energetic and fast the remix was, the original felt slow द्वारा comparison. However, in December of that year, I took क्विज़ of which after I resolved it, told me which डिज़्नी song fits me the most, and I ended up with "Let It Go". When the song played, I decided to listen to it and I liked it better than before, but I still thought the remix was better.
Nowadays, my opinions have changed, but I still stand that this is one of the best versions of the song I ever heard. They even let me play it once on my 8th grade bachelor party, and the other students loved it.
I प्यार this version not because it's so much fun, but because this is the version that I have to thank for making me feel I प्यार with "Let It Go" and made me प्यार फ्रोज़न more.

1.The original Idina Menzel version.
Yeah, this one was expected. To me, nothing beats the original and I stand द्वारा my opinion. Sure, the Living Tombstone remix and the Alex Boye/Children's Choir version are amazing, but the original stands out to me on many levels.

Again, this requires some history.
In December of 2014, I took a डिज़्नी संगीत क्विज़ of which after I solved it, told me which डिज़्नी song fits me the most, and I ended up with "Let It Go". When the song played, I decided to listen to it and I liked it better than before, but still preferred the remix.
One night, I wanted to listen to "Let It Go" from the OST just for fun, and at that moment, for some reason I realized how great the song actually was. I loved it so much that I even donwloaded it for free on my phone and I listened to it alongside the remix when I was walking.

In February, when I wrote that "Let It Go" analysis, I was gushing over the song. I just couldn't stop listening to it when I was on the bus. Maybe it's because the लेख showed that "Let It Go" has और than meets the eye, and it made me प्यार it even more. However, in Spring, my obsession for the song has started to diminish. I didn't began to hate it, I just didn't listen to it as much, या barely even listen to it. I began to think that my प्यार for "Let It Go" and for फ्रोज़न in general is fading away, but it turns out I just needed a little time-out from listening to the song.

"Let it Go" is on a whole different level than almost every other डिज़्नी song. It is my all-time favorite. Yeah I pretty much think this song is flawless. Take out the fact that it is legitimately overplayed and आप have a good song. Even if आप hate it, look up one of the version from above या a different one आप like. This song is fantastic on its own in my mind, but its far better when आप see it in the context of the movie. All we’ve seen Elsa do so far was for other people and now she feels as though she has to run away from her home. I sympathize with her, so seeing Elsa, for lack of better phrasing, let it go is refreshing because it feels like the character is getting something she legitimately enjoys after so much sadness. The instrumentation knocks every beat out of the park. It’s weird. Even in डिज़्नी songs I like, they generally let the lyrics carry the meaning and emotion. As much as I प्यार "Gaston" या "Be Prepared", they’re और interesting because of their lyrics rather than the way the song was written, which is awesome, but not as good as a song that can do both like "Make a Man Out of You", "Hellfire", and "Let It Go". In sequences like those, the song reflects the emotions the lyrics want to get across while having entertaining lyrics too. I could do an entire lyric breakdown on "Let It Go" and explain how every musical cue perfectly emulates the emotions Elsa is going through, but that I already did that one, twice, so really I'd be beating a dead horse. Despite that, I will praise the ending of the song all I want. It’s perfect, plain and simple. The escalation all comes to a head and delivers on the newfound joy Elsa’s expressing, resulting in that great zoom out shot of Elsa’s castle, followed द्वारा my प्रिय moment in the movie. May sound silly, but the little sneer Elsa has when saying, “The cold never bothered me anyway,” is awesome. The संगीत cuts to a dull sustained tone and everything quiets down. It’s hard to pinpoint why the line itself is so perfect, but it really rolls off the tongue. It’s hard to offer quantifiable evidence as to why a डिज़्नी song is good. Anyone can say they like the way a song sounds, that’s why every person has a different सूची of their favorites. It’s just hard to leave it strictly at subjective reasons when trying to describe a film that people dismiss as objectively bad with subjective reasons. People can say that "Let It Go" is a horribly written pile of crap…because it just is. They can take the piss out of the fans, but the सेकंड we call them out on their actions we’re suddenly attacking them for their opinion when really we just hate that they’re jerks about it. If I had to agree with the minutest criticism of it, I’ll say that the lyrics are extremely open ended if आप don’t hear them in context. Without it, the lyrics are just about letting go of problems that you’ve had to repress. That’s why I think it’s become such a phenomenon for teenage and adult fans:because a bunch of selfish scums on Tumblr see a fantastic character गाना a great song about releasing her inner anguish and all they do is think about how it applies to them. As much as I believe there is legitimately no reason to think this is a bad song, I 100% get if people hate the प्रशंसकों who like it for the wrong reasons. Take "Let It Go" out of the equation though. There are objectively good things about each song: they all contribute to the characters and/or storytelling.

I don't have anything left to say, only that this is one my प्रिय songs of all time and a true masterpiece.

Like I कहा before, if आप like a version of "Let It Go" on the सूची better than the other one, you're free to share your opinion, same of आप dislike the song. But even if आप dislike it, आप can't deny the impact this song and फ्रोज़न left. If "Let It Go" really is that bad, then why are there multiple different versions of this song if not because it's so great. या maybe they made different versions to appeal to different people.

As always, Smell ya Later!

 Seriously, if these three were princesses they'd be #1
Seriously, if these three were princesses they'd be #1
Oh my god! This is literally the hardest countdown I've ever done! I did this सूची awhile back and my opinion has changed radically on all the princesses. With my favourites list, one princess moved, with this सूची they've all changed places, I used math to help me rank them and I was surprised, especially द्वारा my #8. I gave each of them scores of 1-10 for three different areas, face, body and hair. Then added it up. No one got 30 as their final score. Funny enough, even though they're princesses, none of them are perfect. To be honest I'm only sure about my चोटी, शीर्ष two, this सूची could change again...
