After two weeks of writer's block and Lunar New साल vacation, I'm back with the third chapter of We're Talking Kings and Successions! We still haven't quite gotten to the action part of the story yet, but it'll come in good time. Anyway, I hope आप enjoy this chapter! (I doubt आप will though.) Oh, and आप can read chapter one link and आप can read chapter two link if आप haven't already! link And besides, the mystery girl was currently bleeding, an ऐरो embedded in her neck. She was in need. And although her mother had never taught her this, Rapunzel somehow knew that one had to help a person in need.
Elsa curled up as best she could and let her body be wracked by sobs.
She knelt down besides the girl from her dream and began to lift her off of the floor. Chapter Three: Answered and Unanswered Where am I?
That was Elsa’s first thought when she awoke from her feverish sleep, because in her groggy state she felt numbed, and she could barely remember her name. She tried to get out of bed, but was bound द्वारा a very strange, glowing rope. She was vaguely aware that her body was in great pain, but she was still too out of it to feel a thing.
Then she remembered, finally exiting her bubble of numbness, who she was. Elsa. Former क्वीन of Arendelle. Currently on the run from the prince of the Southern Isles. Last night she had been shot in the neck. She was as of now in a house she had broken into. There had been a girl whose hair had glown. Elsa was still wearing her torn up prison uniform. She had a younger sister named Anna. Anna. “Anna!”
Elsa screamed out in horror, feeling the pain of the burns on her body as she felt the pain of her sister’s absence. Her sister hadn’t been able to escape with her, and was still a political prisoner in Arendelle’s prison. Elsa curled up as best she could, being bound द्वारा the rope, and let her body be wracked द्वारा sobs.
From her बसेरा, पर्च on one of the wooden beams littering the ceiling of the tower, Rapunzel watched the mysterious girl cry. She had easily healed the ice queen’s wound with her glowing hair, although it seemed to do something strange to Elsa’s skin wherever Rapunzel touched it. It was most peculiar, but then again, Rapunzel had never met anyone other than Gothel, much less anyone else with powers like she had. And really, was Rapunzel going to miss her chance to talk to someone else, her first chance in forever?
No, she wasn’t. Gathering her hair as she gathered her courage, Rapunzel swung down from her hiding place to face her captive. xoxo link Gothel strode purposefully into the palace and onward, until she found herself in a tiny basement area filled with alchemical tools. A dangerously beautiful woman was sitting at a table, pouring a ground up white powder into a red liquid. Gothel walked right up to her; not fearing her like most of the world.
“Hello, sister dearest,” she कहा with a smirk. The dangerously beautiful woman whirled around, droplets of a strange liquid slopping out of a beaker.
“You’re aging badly,” Grimhilde कहा to her sister with a smirk, as she took a glass of wine from a nearby serving boy.
Gothel’s lip curled. The two sisters had been competing for centuries to be younger and prettier, and Grimhilde, the elder, was currently in the lead. She had concocted a potion made from her stepdaughter’s blood and other unknown ingredients that Gothel was desperate to know, and after bathing in it she hadn’t shown a sign of aging since.
Grimhilde smiled at her scowling sister and tried to start a conversation, pretending Gothel had come just to see her because she enjoyed the company. “How is your little prisoner doing?”
Gothel ran her painted nails through her curly hair, her eyes growing और distressed with each gray hair she noticed. “I didn’t come for idle chit-chat, sister,” Gothel informed her. “We both know that.”
“Yes, yes we do… How about आप tell me whatever tawdry favor you’ve come to ask of me, then?”
“What makes आप think I want a favo- Fine. I do need a favor. It’s just that… it- she-”
Grimhilde smirked at her sister’s inability to explain herself. “Are आप always this inarticulate, sister?”
“The sun magic is no longer working for me!” Gothel finally blurted out, louder than she intended. Grimhilde icily raised an eyebrow in dispassionate interest. “I think I’m- I think I’m becoming desensitized to the magic. Soon, I will दिखाना my true age, I need your help.” And that was the truth, as much as Gothel hated to admit it.
“Say it then,” the Evil क्वीन said, a malicious smirk playing on her lips.
“Say what?” Gothel asked, pretending not to know what her sister meant.
“Admit it,” Grimhilde uttered. “Admit that I’m better at magic than you.” Of course,
Gothel thought. Of course that’s all she needs as payment to help me. It’s a good thing I have her as my sister instead of someone like Maleficent या Hades. With them, everything comes at a steep price. With my sister, the only price is satiating her enormous ego.
And Gothel, although her ego was of a considerable size as well, had no problem doing that. “Fine, I admit it,” she कहा in the most complimentary tone she could muster. “You’re simply better than me, that’s all! Always have been--”
will be,” Grimhilde finished. “You’re still the same suck-up you’ve always been, sister,” and at those words Gothel feared for a moment that she would have no help, but then: “But I’ll help you. I’ll need your little prisoner, आप may have built up immunity to the flower’s abilities, but I can remedy that.”
“That’s all?” Gothel asked, surprised at how much easier this was than she’d thought it’d be. “Alright, I’ll set back for the tower right--”
“Not so hasty, sister dearest,” Grimhilde interrupted. “I’ll need और power to help you. I need something else…” the evil क्वीन stood up, and strode majestically over to a shelf, a rather unassuming one containing unassuming पुस्तकें and a plain, unassuming box. “...Or someone else…” she muttered darkly, और to herself than to anyone else, as she picked up the unassuming box and brought it back to the sofa where her sister was sitting.
“Wha-what is that?” Gothel asked Grimhilde, her voice shaking merely from the blackness of the magic she could feel emanating from the ordinary looking box. Gothel, despite her enhanced longevity, had only skimmed the surface of all magic had to offer. But Grimhilde? Grimhilde had gone deep into magic’s dark promise, and had paid the price for doing so time and time again.
“This old thing?” Grimhilde mused in her cold, careless voice, spreading her fingers possessively over the lid of the box. “This,” she said, opening the box at a tantalizingly slow pace, “is the answer to all
of your problems…”
Will Rapunzel and Elsa be friends... या enemies?
“This box,” she said, opening the box at a tantalizingly slow pace, “contains the answer to all of your problems…”
What is in Grimhilde's mysterious little box?
What happened to Merida after she ran from the tower?
What will become of Anna, locked away in Arendelle?
When will MacytheStrange learn to write decently?
You'll learn the जवाब to these सवालों in the अगला chapter of We're Talking Kings and Successions! Welp, there was Chapter Three! Nothing much happened in this chapter, I guess, but I wanted to दिखाना आप some और of Grimhilde and Gothel. I'm pretty happy with my choice to make them sisters, they make a great villanous duo. Oh, and I'm sorry that the chapter was so short, and terribly written, and that the pictures were so cruddy, but it was written द्वारा me, so it's to be expected. So yeah, I hope it wasn't so bad that आप guys all gouged your eyes out.
