Imagine that आप are in a boat. There are other people in your boat. There is also one person in the water. Allowing this person to get onto your नाव will not sink the boat. Everyone could easily fit comfortably. But still, there is a person in the water.

Now, if this person was only in the water for a short time, then yes, saying, "Hey, guys, lend me a hand onto your boat?" is probably exactly what she would do. But imagine this person has been in the water for hours. And imagine that it was other people in the नाव that pushed her in there. Not you, of course. आप didn't push her in. But other people in your position did. And now, she is screaming for help, because she is drowning. She is yelling and panicky and angry at the people who pushed her in.

There are people in your नाव that actively say she does not deserve help for whatever reason. That it's her own fault she's in the water and if she really wanted to get on the boat, then she should be और respectful. और calm. Smile more, speak और softly. Basically, they are saying that she should act like the people who are already in the नाव are acting.

But the people already in the नाव aren't drowning.

Obviously, आप being a good person, would say, "Screw आप guys, I'm helping the drowning person get into the boat!" But you'll be met with, "Oh, that's not fair. I didn't get any help getting into the boat. Don't we deserve to be treated equally?" and "Yeah, but आप know she's just going to get water in our नाव and make it smell like sea water and algae. Do we REALLY want that on our boat?" and even the और blunt, "Don't help her, she deserves to drown."

Meanwhile, she is screaming. She is flailing, she is cursing, and she is drowning. And can we really blame her? If she's been in the water for hours, she's tired, she's been asking आप for hours to let her on the boat, and आप just sit there and watch. Because she didn't ask nicely enough.

Now imagine someone else shows up on a कश्ती, कयाक for one. He hears the drowning person in the water, and says, "Hey, please let her on your boat. She's cold and spluttering and terrified. She's a human being. Treat her like one." He is respectful. He is calm. He is smiling and speaking softly. He already has a boat.

"Well, if she wanted on the boat, all she had to do was ask nicely," they say as they begrudgingly give her a hand.

Remember one thing: People who hold the power have the privilege of being polite. People who hold the power have the privilege of deciding when to face racism and when to ignore it. And people who don't, are drowning.

The Republicans as well as a personified hairball some cat coughed up वाद-विवाद tonight. Though there are only five of them still in the race whittled down from an impressive seventeen before the primaries, it's hard to know what they're really for and against beyond all the rhetoric.

The Democrats have a completely different pickle. Their party is divided between two candidates who can't stop agreeing on everything, and yet insist they are different from each other.

So what does this really mean? Your very own political pundit is here to break it down for आप in as unbiased a way as I can possibly...

I was wondering something. What do आप people think? Is war really neccesary? In my own opinion, I think it is not.
My religion is Christian, so, duh, I believe in God! Well, if आप don't then maybe... ah never mind! I think God put everyone on Earth for him. He wants people to live for God and get along with each other to score Heaven. Hell is only worthy if आप do not fufill God's commands.
In the harsh struggle to live in WAR, people are killing others.
I am NOT a hippie, but I believe war is murder and thanks if आप are in the service for risking your life for America, but आप are also...

How does God speak to you?
How does God speak to you?
Behind the मिनट laws and rules of a book like Leviticus, are principles which hint at what God is like. He is a Holy God who must be taken seriously. People of that time (and a lot of today's people) had the habit of inventing and discarding gods as they felt like it. God declares that He alone is the true God, worthy of all worship. In one sense what God ultimately demands -- OBEDIENCE -- has not changed since Old Testament days. But God teaches the Israelites much as a parent must teach a young child -- with dozens of clearly spelled-out rules.
Time alone to speak with God is essential.
Time alone to speak with God is essential.

 Do आप have the patience?
Do you have the patience?
In the Old Testament God begins with a single couple, Adam and Eve. He puts them in a perfect world with certain rules to obey. They flunk! The first eleven chapters of Genesis mostly record one failure after another. God punishes Adam and Eve, destroys the world with a massive flood, and smashes a misguided rebellion at the tower of Babel.
God reaches down and selects a man named Abraham, to whom He gives some extraordinary promises. He promises that Abraham's descendants will some दिन become as numerous as sand on a beach, and that they will grow to become a mighty nation with their own land....
