Because I want people to state their opinion and then give examples and arguments to back it up. But I actually didn't think about making it a pick question. I'll do that,
I'm going to say fact. The way I see it we wouldn't have so many different religions and cultures throughout history labelling it as something wrong if it hadn't had a mostly negative impact on their society to start with.

but there are certain cultures that dont think it as wrong
Just because they killed people didn't mean they didn't think it was wrong to kill. It just means they were willing to kill even though it was the wrong thing to do. They knew what they were doing was wrong. That's why they tried to hide their concentation capms. That's why there are so many nazy supporters who still try to deny the holocaust ever happened. They have no acceptable reasons to excuse their actions during their reign.
In Western cultures या cultures that have been influenced द्वारा the west, it is somewhat an opinion that has become "fact" through widespread agreement with this belief; many लोकप्रिय belief systems, mainly Christianity, have made it an accepted fact. The Ten Commandments, which stem from the Bible's book of Exodus, is often referred to as the moral code of Western Civilization. One of the commandments specifically states that people are not to kill others. The east, like China and Pakistan, may not always agree with this, because the Ten Commandments are the morals of the West, not specifically the East. Meaning, since ईसाई धर्म is less prevalent in those countries, the Westernized view of murder isn't always accepted there. So, to us Westerners, it's fact, but to others in Asia, it may not always be classified as fact. (I think आप meant murder; self-defense cases that end in the death of another is seen as okay, if the person was harmful.)
Actually the original Ten Commandments say that it's your choice whether या not आप kill. The Christians changed it when they translated the Bible from Hebrew.
Are आप sure about that? I have never heard that argument before. Where did आप find out that the Christians translated it wrong? And how would it be a commandment if आप can choose whether आप want to kill या not? It's not a commandment if आप can choose freely without reprecussions, so I don't see how that can be an accurate argument.
How did this stem into religion? First of all, I don't really think ANY religion condones murder positively, if it does that religion is obviously not enforced द्वारा law officials because I doubt that murder is legal in ANY country. If I am wrong, please correct me.
Opinion. There are times where it's necessary (kill या be killed/defence). Not everyone thinks it's "wrong" to kill people like Hitler या Osama, या people who have been sentenced to the death penalty in general.
I believe the killing of the INNOCENT is wrong, but if 1.) आप have taken the life of an innocent person, yours is forefeit, 2.) taking the life of another in self defense is not wrong, 3.) war. If आप have या are helping in the killing of innocent people, like those who planned and carried out 9/11, आप deserve to die. And any sniper/general soldier who kills such a person is not a murderer.
@MusicMaker95 You're using the word right like you're talking facts. Use humane and inhumane, it better implies you're speaking opinion and not fact. (I'm just speaking on your comment.)
hunny who's to say that आप are anyone else is "innocent" या "guilty"? i think that is out of any mortals hands to say wether is right या wrong to end anothers life so easily.......even if they have done something bad या even horrific. i once heard someone say "letting the murderer live and repent is the WORST thing आप can do to them. B/c Then they have time to replay that scene in their head and feel the guilt.
well, i definitely think it a matter of culture. i mean if आप talk about killing someone in a police raid as self defense then is a right think to most people and i think everyone agrees on this (i not quote sure but i think so) even though they took a life it was self defense and i think most are on the same page which means in this case it is a fact. but on the other when आप actually murder someone, then also obviously it is a fact that it is wrong. but when the person is executed, the fact of right and wrong becomes an opinion. as depending on culture and beliefs, it differs. therefore, it depends on what your beliefs are of what आप define killing as even.
Murder is necessary to deplete the population, without murder, Earth will be overpopulated. I'm not saying that killing is good, I believe that committing murder is inhumane, murder is important for population control.

Interesting...I've never thought if it that way, but I guess you're right.
Fact. Whether आप know it या not.....it is. It would be on ANY human beings concience if they ever killed another. Why do आप think that is? Why do we have a concience in the first place? The answer is to tell us if we are wrong to be doing something. *now i am not meaning to preach या anything like that* but God is the ONLY one to decide if a person lives या if he dies and ANYONE who tries to take that position....yes even police, FBI, judges, ect......are sinning.
Just my honest to goodness opinion.

...So आप कहा that it's a fact that murder is wrong, stated your resoning, and then ended it saying that it was your "honest to goodness opinion." That's contradicting yourself.
"Murder is wrong" is clearly an opinion. Whether everyone agrees it is wrong या not makes no difference. If everyone agreed that blue is the best color, it is still an opinion.
