I am kind of siding to pessimistic right now. But I'll always have hope because of DE's buildup and story. It's the writers's treatment of Damon versus their treatment of Stefan that pulls me towards the pessimistic side.

I got pissed off when I saw that a spoiler was leaked about Klaus compelling Stefan to turn off his emotions. As if that is the only way he can turn bad. Stefan has always had this in him, I guess they forgot they wrote seasons one and two where he said that himself.

Im sooo not giving up and being negative!! We still have 18 whole episodes to go! ANYTHING can happen!

I'm on the cautious side of optimistic. The writers have an amazing opportunity to build on the Delena relationship and I really hope they take advantage of that, but their favoritism toward Stefan really worries me and part of me is scared to get my hopes up. Then again, the writers are the ones who have made Damon so incredibly amazing up to this point, so I'm just going to have to sit back, cross my fingers and trust them. Whatever happens, Delena will always be together in my heart :)
