Lol. Well I at lease expected a hug, but whatever. I didn't expect her to do like a happy dance. And I also did not expect her to kiss him (although it would have been freakin killer if she did kiss him on the cheek). Anyways, the way she reacted (if she even gave a reaction) is the way I picture her reacting. Give him a look, say a few words, look at his lips, then leave, but not before she turns around and looks at him again. <--- That's so Elena when it comes to Damon. Besides, I didn't even care of how she reacted, I was too busy squealing at what Damon just told her.

I think she was kinda confused, I mean should she be happy or angry, he just told her he would always choose her but wouldn't mind her best friend dying. But ^^^ I agree completely with this! Damon always has the best lines!

I don't like it at all. She could say 'Thank you for caring of me" or something like that

I was hoping she would give him a hug again... a way of showing how thankful she actually was... But her reaction was... Okay, I guess. It COULD have been better, but beggers cant be choosers.

I was also expecting her to hug him! Her reaction resembled the one from the "I love you" scene, she was just standing there..I would have preferred to see her being moved or something and taking some time to think of how strong his emotions are for her, instead of running to bring Elija back to life to protect Bonnie..:p

I Was Kinda Hoping She'd Hug Him, Give Him A Kiss On The Cheek or Something But Otherwise I Liked Her Reaction, She's Confused Because She's Been So Blind To How Much Damon Truelly Cares About Her So I Think She Was Kinda Stunned!

I was a little annoyed that she looked so confused and like she didn't understand him. But at the same time, Elena still hasn't explored her feelings for Damon yet, so I guess it was to be expected. Still an amazing scene though :)

I get it. It's obvious she's too scared to analyze her feelings for Damon so she just pushes them away, but then he was there in front of her saying that and all those feelings she was trying so hard to deny were hitting her full on. She was probably too overwhelmed to move at that point (I know I would be if someone said something like that to me!). She was probably a little frightened by the intensity of his feelings as well. I think she's also very careful not to touch him too much because she's afraid of leading him on, which I actually really respect. She's always been very clear about her unromantic feelings for him, but now that that's changing, I think she just doesn't know how to act with him. I think her restraint with him is just going to make it all the more satisfying when she finally does allow herself to love him, because it's GOING to happen. It has to! :D

it could have been better, but she was so in denial of her feelings towards him at the time, that looking back on it now, i see why she didn't react to it. not to mention; she was still sore towards Damon for his treatment of Jeremy. but alas! we didn't need to worry. Because as it turns out, all her stubbornness towards him was due to the doppelganger curse. that was the one thing that was keeping her loyal to Stefan though she didn't know it at the time.
