Plus, Damon knew she was sired but waited till the end of the day to let her go instead of right away, he isn't looking out for what's best for Elena he's being selfish. Meanwhile, Stefan is working so hard to find a cure for her cause he knows she is unhappy.

@stelena1234. Get over youself please! Damon is the most selfless character n brother on the whole show, He has always put Elena's n Stefan's happiness first. Just because Stefan was heartbroken, Elena should be with Stefan? WTF? What about all the heartbreak Damon went through? Yes Damon knew she was sired but did he touch her or try to kiss her? No. He finally got the girl he loves but he still did the noble n right thing n let her go. He didn't wait for the end of the day to let her go, Elena was busy helping Jeremy. Is he just supposed to cut Elena out of Jeremy's life? Damon is the only one who always has Elena's best interests at heart. Everyone else is just treating her like a problem that needs to be fixed. And if u watch the show properly, Stefan is the hypocritical n selfish one. He gets jealous n insecure at the thought of Elena n Damon being together, he is only finding the cure because he can't accept Elena as a vampire. He is doing it so it can be easier for him to love her again. Yes Elena was unhappy when she first turned but she has accepted life and is happy n content with who she is. Is she supposed to spend her entire eternal life getting a degree in self loathing n hating herself? She is growing up and maybe u should to. Next time, watch the show properly n stop blinding yourself from facts. Stefan is a jealous, selfish hypocrtical person who doesn't love Elena truly, n they should be together? Right LOL.
Damon loves Elena with everything he has and deserves n loves her the most.

@stelena1234 Stefan is searching for the cure because HE is unhappy not Elena!! He knew that Elena didn't want to be a vampire but he still let her die (and don't give me the bullshit about Matt) and now suddenly he feels bad and wants her to be human again because he can't love her as a vampire! everything he does is just for his own sake. So he is the selfish one not Damon! You Stelena fans need to open your eyes!!! Stefan is not a saint and the selfless one. Now I have some questions for you what would you say if Elena was sired to Stefan and not Damon? Would her feelings for Stefan be fake like you say about her feelings for Damon? Should Stefan set her free or would you say that the sirebond just proves their EPIC love? You SErs are all bashing on Damon saying he acted selfish by not letting her go but what if Stefan was the one in Damon's position?
