After a whole दिन of Elena-how-could-yous and oh-poor-Damons, I came to realise that, Elena made the right decision of choosing Stefan RIGHT NOW.
It’s because she still loves him.

And so, she can’t be with Damon YET. “I care about you, which is why I have to let आप go”. I know we are all angry that it’s still “I care about you”, but say she admitted she loves Damon knowing that she’s choosing Stefan (for now) anyway, isn’t that just too cruel? She loves him, but she’s not ENTIRELY in-love with him. She only just acknowledged that she has feelings for him.
