What is your definition of a TWIMOM and what do आप think of them?

My dental hygienist was a Twilight प्रशंसक and a mother. Which was amusing, as she told me that Edward was on her "freebe" list... and Alice was on her husband's! So it was kind of funny, and I smiled and was polite to her.

I think adults who like Twilight (for whatever reason) are... perfectly normal. Surprised? Well, I figure, द्वारा then you're old enough to think for yourself. And besides, if they're anything like my hygienist, या the sixth grade English teacher I worked with last summer, they generally have quite healthy relationships with their husbands.

The English teacher I worked with categorized it under "guilty pleasures."

I think a lot of them like Twilight for the same reason women like trashy romantic drug store paperbacks. And I think a lot of them treat Twilight LIKE कहा paperbacks. They don't put it on a pedestal as great literature. They know it's trash. But they can't help but like it.

And, आप know, I think it's a good thing that Moms know what their daughters are reading. Because not only can they have that to share with their kids, but they can explain things (like the fact the novel is fiction, and shouldn't be made into a religion).

This opinion may come from my ageist leanings. And my assumption that thirty-to-forty-somethings are और mature than thirteen-year-olds. But if you're a mother, I think you're allowed to have a little कल्पना once in a while... Even if it is Twilight. Mostly because, they understand that Twilight is absolutely nothing like real life. Unlike certain tweens who read the book.

EDIT: Also remember that it's "twimoms" who tend to give the best arguments for the पुस्तकें to antis. Rather than "U R JUST A HATER!" they sit down and listen to your arguments and refute them.

I think that a twimom is a mother who is obsessed with Twilight. She begs her husband/wife to treat her और like Edward treats Bella. They sometimes neglect their children. (sometimes!)
I think that twimoms are weird. I mean, I can;t imagine living a regular mother's life and being obsessed with Twilight at the same time! I think that Twimoms are a little simular to creepy stalkers.
I've seen a twimom and her twifan child once. I was at Borders looking at पुस्तकें (NO, really?), and I saw a mom and her child saying things like "Oh my goodness, I प्यार Edward Cullen!" and "If only your father was और like him!"
It was weird. Really weird.

A TWiMUM is a woman getting लॉस्ट in a book again. They like the forbidden romance theme. I haven't met any adults who like Twilight yet. But i have met plenty who hate it so i can't axactly define it properly

I guess what I know of a twimums is the only twimum I know. My best friend is obsessed with twilight, and her mum has read the saga something ridiculous like 5 times, she loves them, and buys all the merchandise for her daughter, and gets all giggly and hysterical with her daughter over twilight. So, that's what I think a twimum is.

I think a Twimom is a mom who likes Twilight. Aha, creative I know. I think they are the same as the fans; आप have the normal, sane ones who just happen to like the books/movies (like my mom) and then आप have the crazy, creepy ones who fantasize about Edward and Jacob and wish their husbands (or whatever the case may be) were और like them.

Luckily, I have yet to personally encounter the latter form, but I have heard stories.
