When the trailer for the new Clifford movie came out, it got mixed reception. An eccentric gentleman, named Mr. Bridwell, introduces Emily to Clifford, a very small कुत्ते का बच्चा, पिल्ला who wants a family. Emily quickly becomes attached to Clifford. Her प्यार for Clifford is so big that Clifford grows up to the biggest dog in the world. Emily wants to keep Clifford, but Mr. Tieran, a mischievous man, attempts to take Clifford away from her.
Like the other versions of the Clifford franchise, the story focuses on the adorable bond between Clifford and Emily. As far as I can tell, a lot of the other story elements and characters were created for the film, but in this case, that's not a bad thing. Clifford The Big Red Dog is a rather wholesome, simple story, so is it able to work as a feature film? In my opinion, it totally does. While the film adds a lot of new stuff, the innocence and दिल of the franchise lives on. This is one of the cutest films that I've seen in a long time. To me, it doesn't feel like a 2021 film. It feels like a timeless film that could of come out at any period of time.
As for the characters, they're lovable and easy to root for. The bond between Emily and Clifford pulls on the heartstrings and is an adorable treat to watch. Emily's uncle, Casey, provides a lot of humor to the film, but he also brings a lot of heart. John Cleese's Mr. Bridwell serves an upbeat, charming mentor, while Tony Hale plays the antagonistic Mr. Tieran with a sense of humor.
