Ah, well, remind them of the good things in life. Tell them how it will all get better soon. With those faults that are in their life, try to help them, if आप can. If they're religious, remind them about how much God loves them. Don't make them feel selfish about wanting to commit suicide या anything, that really does और harm than help. Remind them that you're there for them, and that life is worth it. Giving up will get आप nowhere.
