I like it boarding on love. It's definitely better than the original because it has better animation, the story is more engaging, Shanti is a three-dimensional and active character, the climax is awesome, and Shere Khan has more screentime (who is AWESOME). But is does have some terrible songs, and sometimes the animation is too colorful (but it's better than being dull).

It's a dumb movie, like almost all the sequels. Inconsistent characterization and ignores the laws that worked in the original film.
