^Agreed. Maybe I shouldn't have used Ginger for the pic (since they NEEDED to get out, whereas with someone like Tiana, their goal is nice but not necessary and a matter of life or death) but I really wanted to use more non-Disney heroines. and she's underrated!

I generally prefer those satisfied with how their lives are. I am not ambitious and can relate to it more. sometimes heroines who are overly ambitious can come off as ungrateful for the good they already have.

If she's satisfied with life, it doesn't really make for much of a story. If she has everything she wants or is happy with the way things are, there's nothing to drive her to seek something different, and thus no Hero's Journey or conflict to keep the story engaging.

If they're happy with their life it really makes for a boring character and a boring story.

Well, I don't find Nakoma, Aurora and Lottie boring at all. But I guess they're not the heroes anyway. However, Snow managed to have a good movie and be a good character while managing to be happy with what she had. I guess I'm referring to attitude mostly.

A few problems with your argument.

1.Nakoma is not a heroine.

2.Aurora is not satisfied with her life. She wants her aunts to stop treating her like a child, to find her true love, and (based off the way she looked at the castle during I Wonder) to be free.

3.Lottie isn't satisfied and won't be until she lands herself a prince.

4.Snow White wants a prince and likely to not be her step-mother's servant.
