Ya know the thing that gets me is the LPers say that when Peyton said she Loved the IDEA of Lucas....that she meant that's part of what she loves...and that we are stupid because we all know what she meant!! and I'm like REALLY we doo...cause I don't think I do...I heard what she said and that's it...if she meant somethin else then I guess she should word her pathedic statements better then....I mean seriously they get on my last nerve why can't they just accept that she doesn't love him as much as she wished she did..and he doesnt love her that much anymore

I just don't think they have the chemistry.

fans think it and obviously the writers/creators thought it enough to address it in the show and instead of ending the 'they just like the idea of each other' arguement for us BLers they gave us actual proof for it. no way in hell can it be said (IMO) that brooke and lucas only liked the idea of each other.

I also think she's not IN love with Lucas, I think she's in love with the fictional version of their love. I believe when they dated she was in love with him but in the last three years I think she's come to love what she thought they could be.

And that's not what they've become. When you truly love someone you want them to be happy even if you are not a part of that happiness && I don't care if she said she was letting him go, she shouldn't have had to verbalize that.

Let him go, but do it silently & leave without causing anymore harm then you've already caused.
