There's something so simple but powerful about this scene that makes me love it so much. Sure what Meredith says is great, but it's more about the way she says it...and the fact that SHE is saying it. She's such a ridiculously emotionally fragile person, and hearing her open up and allow herself to be vulnerable like that in order to hopefully find the love she wanted was amazing. So often (especially in the first couple seasons) she was so emotionally guarded, so watching her take her guard down to fight for the man she loves was so heart warming.
