I think, because the story line was complete. आप see, most movie sequels are made when the story line is not complete, या they want a twist to the tale. For example, it happens with some traditional tales as well. Like, 'Cinderella' of Walt डिज़्नी was a traditional tale. They wanted to add a twist to it and made its sequel, 'Cinderella 2:Dreams Come True'. I know, how most of us प्यार this movie and want some good stuff like this in the future too, but its all up to Mattel!
