Neither. I like his policies.

Even I can admit that the "hope" thing is a gimmick. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to cheapen it-- every politician needs a catch phrase, a repeated mantra to help unify his party. But that's not why I like him. I like his financial plan, and his foreign policy. And I think he has more potential than McCain.

Also, he sold me with his "religion and state" speech.

If he had any of the same characteristics McCain posesses, it would not matter if I was a democrat. I would not vote for him.
However, I'm too young to vote, so I guess you could say my opinion doesn't exactly matter :)

That's kind of what I meant by hope. He is proposing different types of plans and policies that actually give you hope for a more positive future. Granted, he'll have a heck of a mess to try to clean up after, but I feel like he cares, and will seriously try to do his best at righting wrongs, and making things better where he can.

Don't belittle yourself by saying your opinion doesn't count. If those are your beliefs, than you will make them count when you can. Also, if you share your thoughts with others who are able to vote, you may help to reinforce or change who they vote for.

In Italy things are different, politics are divided in Right(republicans) and Left(democrats) and I'm a Right's supporter...but if I were American I'd absolutely vote for Obama, he represents what America needs, hope and changement, for a fairer social assistance. Left side in Italy is very very similar to Comunism, very distant from Obama, who just wants an actual democratic society

c'mon, and he is the only black who has made it this far!!!
