(Scar here again. This was one of the scariest days in my entire life!)

Once Jon got us to the hospital, he parked and hustled all of us inside. The hospital was a maze of white linoleum, beige walls, and people in white uniforms. The whole combination scared the shit out of me.

When the emergency room people finally let us go inside and see him, I was 10 feet ahead of everyone else.

Inside the room, I hesitated. For the first time, I wasn't sure that I really wanted to see him like this.
Jon walked in behind me and crouched down अगला to me. "What's wrong, Scar?" he कहा softly....

(Scar here, this was a completely unexpected event here. Anyway, I thought I'd tell this one from my point of view)

I watched in amazement as he drove. He seemed so calm, so composed. He looked ready for anything.
I saw him take his hand off the car's steering wheel and drop it to a lever between us.
"What's that?" I asked, pointing to it.
"It's called a gearshift," he said. "It helps the car go faster."
"That's cool," I said, giving him a grin.
He grinned back at me. "Wanna see something cool?" I was slightly worried, but I nodded. He gripped the shifting thing and stomped on...

Claudette was on the rocky overlook that was attached to the front of her den, watching the moon, wondering if her parents and brothers were also watching, waiting, for her to come home. She had been captured द्वारा some rogues, whom had covered their scent trail so that no one could follow them, just a महीना earlier. Her new friend, that had also been captured as a servant about a week after her, Felin, was beside her, watching Claudette with sad eyes.
