हे guys. I just wanted to say this ahead of time, may Robin Williams Rest in Peace as he passed away this Monday. Today's chapter is gonna be part one of an arc. Also there's gonna be some swearing and violence. Enjoy.

I was in my मांद, डेन as my mate had just gone into labor. She was screaming her lungs out while squeezing the hell out of my paw. "Come on dear. Just breathe," I कहा encouraging her.

"I'm trying," she कहा in horrible pain. She screamed again as the भेड़िया helping her give birth कहा the head was coming out.

"Ok now just push and it'll come out," the male भेड़िया कहा gently.

After what seemed like an eternity of screaming and paw-squeezing, the pup had finally came out. "It's a girl," the भेड़िया announced. He gave me the pup to दिखाना to my mate, but when I got to her her breathing was slowing down.

"Honey, no no no please don't die," I beg her.

"It's alright King. Please promise me to take care of our sweet एंजल and treat her as if she were a princess," She कहा before her breathing stopped completely and her दिल beats ceased.

"Marie, no, Marie," I कहा as I cried on the body of my now dead mate.

"King I'm sorry, there's nothing that couldn't have been done," The भेड़िया said.

"Get out," I कहा quietly.

"King look आप can't..." he couldn't as I pinned him.

"GET THE HELL OUT," I screamed as the भेड़िया doctor ran away.

I was left only with my wife's corpse and the whimpering pup. Looking at the pup, she looked exactly like her mother. She had the same फर color as Marie. She continued to whimpering until I tried comforting her. Luckily, she calmed down. I knew I had to get another female rogue to feed my pup दूध या else she'll die. I then realized that I hadn't दिया the pup a name. At that moment, I remember Marie's last words being to protect and treat her well. Like a princess.

Princess, that was a nice name. "I'll call आप Princess," I कहा rubbing my paw on Princess' face. "Come on I'll get आप some दूध my sweetie," I कहा as a tear escaped my eye. "My, Princess."

Real World: King's POV

I woke up with a gasp due to the dream I had. "Not that one again," I really wanted to avoid that dream like the plague, but of course I'm forced to relive that nightmare on बिना सोचे समझे nights.

It broke my दिल to see Marie die right before my eyes and it would break Princess' if she knew that her mother died during childbirth. Princess always thought her mother was killed द्वारा coyotes या a bear. I never want Princess to think she's the reason she never met her mother.

My throat was really dry. This for some reason remembered what happened with my time with Nars last night. I was really glad those भेड़िया came when they needed to be there, या else blood might have been shed. Maybe later I could check on Nars and his family to see how he's doing. It was really noble of him to stand up for me like that. The only भेड़िया I've known who've done for me were Runt, Princess and Hutch. I guess there really are people who care about.

Walking outside, I saw that the sun was beginning to rise so I headed to the pond nearby. Luckily a different one from the one last night.

I was still disturbed द्वारा the dream I had last night. It took me awhile to shake it off, but I'm guessing with all that happened last night I'm still haunted द्वारा what I did a few months ago, या just my past in general.

To be honest, I didn't have the easiest life. It was difficult at times trying to be a widower father and lead a pack of rogues. It didn't help that Banff didn't have a lot of caribou to hunt. Barely any of the other rogues could find any food. We'd normally had to resort to scraps left द्वारा other packs.

Sometimes I wonder why I left the Eastern Pack because of something as petty as letting Alphas and Omegas mate. I guess I was angry at the doctor wolf, who wan an omega, that he didn't try to save Marie. That probably caused me to think Omegas were useless in general.

All I want to do is forget about my past and live a normal life with my फ्रेंड्स and family. It's hard to do that when there still wolves, like Trey and Gus, telling me how awful of a भेड़िया I used. Though I wouldn't blame them. I did threaten to kill Runt and all the alphas back in winter.

*sigh* I'm just glad no one gave Princess any crap for being my daughter. She must have hated me at one point considering she didn't even want to talk to me when I was brought into the Western Pack द्वारा some alphas. That was probably when I hit rock bottom, if not again.

A few months ago

It had been two weeks since my plan to take over the United Pack failed horribly. My daughter Princess had left the rogue pack after I told her to take some of the rogues to take over the dens back at the Western and Eastern Pack.

I couldn't find much of the other भेड़िया as they were scared off द्वारा the bears that Runt's family brought. The three भेड़िया I did find however refused to work with me as they decided to go return to their respective packs and beg for forgiveness.

When I started to get pissed, I insulted them द्वारा saying they weer worthless pieces of crap. In retaliation, they attacked द्वारा scratching me and punching me in the gut.

As they walked away, one of them spit in my face as he shouted, "Hope आप enjoy a shitty life without your precious daughter, Princess."

I could only limp thanks to those wolfs injuring my leg. As I limped, my stomach growled violently. I had to hunt something या else I'll die from starvation.

So I decided to go somewhere elseto look around for some caribou. Much to my luck after a extremely long walk, I found a young, sick गाय का बच्चा, बछड़ा sleeping while his mother collecting berries for him. Seeing she few feet away from her calf, I hoped that I could quietly him and run as fast I could.

Unfortunately I didn't think of a proper plan so I just crawled to the calf. When I was just an inch या two from the calf, I had hit my leg on a rock. The severe pain had caused me scream, "AHHH GOD DAMMIT."

This had not only woken up the calf, but altered his mother as well. She dashed straight आगे to me and proceeded to stomp on my whole body. The pain was unbearable as gashes began to open. The mother even went as far as press her hooves on my legs hard enough for their बोन्स snap.

Luckily she stopped before she could kill me as she and her गाय का बच्चा, बछड़ा left, leaving me severely wounded. All I could do was crawl now as I found a opening on चोटी, शीर्ष a पहाड़ी, हिल to rest on.

Laying there, I absorbed some sunlight as I realized I was most likely going to die. My whole life was just one regret after another. The worst being my whole plan with the rogues. Not only had I लॉस्ट all the power I had dream, but even worst I लॉस्ट my daughter Princess. It was a no brainer that she thought, या realized, that I was a bad person.

I guess this is the universe's of telling me I have no purpose in this world other than to hurt innocent people. Well at least I'll be able to look up at Marie in Heaven while I'm in Hell. I closed my eyes and was ready to accept death with dignity.

6 hours later

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in some wolf's den. My sight was still a little blurry, so it took me a few मिनटों to notice the leaves on my wounds.

My legs were still broken as it hurt like Hell to stand up. Looking around, it seems like your regular den. I soon realized that there two भेड़िया at the entrance of the मांद, डेन as they turned around and found I was awake.

"Oh crap. Cando go tell the others that his awake." The small भेड़िया immediately ran out of the scene as the golden tan भेड़िया stared at me with venom in his eyes.

Did these people know who I am? I tried speaking to him but I found that my throat was in severe pain as I could only moan. The भेड़िया turned as और भेड़िया arrived at the den.

"Dude he's actually alive," one of them questioned.

"Yes, it's seems that Sweets' and Candy's training as Pack Healers actually paid off," the one named Cando said.

"Hey when's your mate gonna get those special berries for King's throat," The tan colored भेड़िया asked Cando.

"I'm not sure. Reba कहा those kind of berries are hard to find," Cando answered. "Did आप guys tell Kate and Humphrey that King's here?"

My दिल skipped several beats as Cando mentioned Kate and Humphrey. Did both if them know I was here?

"Of course dude. They'd chew our asses if we didn't tell them we found the bastard who kidnapped and threatened to kill Runt," the भेड़िया answered. "It's a good thing there was an empty मांद, डेन near their's."

At that moment I had an even worse realization... I was trapped in the Western Pack.

So that was part one of the King and Princess Arc. It'll focus on King's time at first in the Western Pack. I'm gonna have around 4-5 parts for this arc या more.
