We followed Zack to an empty मांद, डेन that was pretty far from the rest, it had some overhanging vines that covers to entrance which gave privacy.
"Here your new den, when आप wake up in the morning come find me and we'll start the ceremony." And with that Zack left us alone. Scar trotted slowly into the मांद, डेन and I followed in and sat down.
"So... We're supposed to be mates now?" I asked still digesting the news and I started to get an uneasy feeling in my gut.

"Yeah... हे can I tell आप something?" She turned and looked at me just like she was uneasy as well.
"Of coarse Scar." I perked my ears up in curiosity of what she would say.
"Um, well in Alpha school I-I always kind of had a crush on you..." She blushed a bright red and looked down at her paws.
"Scar, I had a crush on आप too." She looked up at me when she heard what I said.
"You did? Oh, well then maybe the mating for the pack will work."

"Maybe, it's getting late..." I looked out of the मांद, डेन noticing the sun had almost set over the चोटी, शीर्ष of the trees. I laid down in the back of the den, and to my surprise Scar came and snuggled up अगला to me. I closed my eyes and soon fell into a light dreamless sleep. I hadn't slept long because when I woke up it was still dark but Scar was also starting to wake.
"Morning Shadow." She smiled and stretched.
"Morning Scar. Um, what does your pack do when they find a mate?" I asked remembering some packs that I had seen before that had some fairly graphic ways of marking a mate.

"Well, first we mimic eachother's posture rotating in a half circle," she mimicked my posture and I started to follow her instructions."The we take in eachother's scent and accept it," we scented each other."Then nuzzle eachother..." We nuzzled eachother like instructed,"A nip on the ear, and finally we touch noses,okay?" She sat down looking at me as I digested the instructions.

"Yeah, simple enough." We got up and left the मांद, डेन to find Zack. After walking around for a few मिनटों we found him gathering people for the ceremony.
"There आप are, we're ready to start when आप are." He then sat down amongst the audience which consisted of both packs.
"Ready Shadow?" Scar started to mimick my posture,

"Yeah..." I started to हटाइए into a half circle. After a few मिनटों the ceremony was over and everyone cheered as the packs were now united. Scar came up and nuzzled me but this time in a loving way.
