I opened my eyes and yawned. Still feeling sleepy, I decided to just lie there for a bit longer. After ten मिनटों या so I quietly slipped out from under my mom and walked towards the opening of the den. I inhaled deeply and smelled the fresh morning air. I wagged my tail slightly... I could sense that today was going to be a good day. I turned and smiled at my mom as I saw her wake up. "Morning mum"! I got up and walked towards her. She smiled and licked my head. "Morning Lexi, why are आप up so early"? I shrugged. "I dunno, just felt like it I guess. हे do आप think that I can go out of the मांद, डेन with you"? I looked in my moms eyes. "Sure I don't see why not". कहा my mom. I jumped up and down. "Yes! I've never been outside the मांद, डेन before"! My mom put a paw on my back so I would stop jumping. "Now, Lexi, आप have to listen very carefully to mommy. Ok"? I nodded yes. "K good, now stay close द्वारा me, and don't talk to any strangers". She began to walk out and I followed close behind her. I took a deep breath and stepped outside. Everything was so new to me. There were things I've never seen या felt before. My mom walked towards a patch of this green stuff and stepped onto it and so did I. "It tickles"! I barked at it for a moment while my mom laughed at me". I looked at her with my head cocked. "Calm down sweety its just grass". I growled at the grass. " I don't like grass". We walked down to the river, she showed me the trees and caught us lunch. As we were eating lunch I noticed my moms ears perk up. "What is it mom"? She stood up quickly. "Lexi, get behind me....now". I got up and hid behind my moms leg. Then I heard it; slow footsteps coming our way. It was another wolf. I gasped and put my tail between my legs. My mom let out a low growl and stood the फर on her back up. The भेड़िया walked closer and I could make out details now. He was black as the night sky, big, and had a scar across his left eye. His pace increased as he came closer. My mom lunged at him but he blocked her and threw her to the ground. I watched in terror as he walked closer to me. I couldn't tell if it was my imagination, but I can swear that he was smiling. Now just a few feet away from me, he pounced on me and rose his paw ready to end my life with one तत्पर, तेज, स्विफ्ट blow. Just as he started to make his mighty paw strike me, my mom jumped on his back and knocked him down. "Lexi run"! I did as I was told and I ran. I didn't know where I was going, but I didn't care I just wanted to get away from there. I ran and ran and ran. I found a hollowed out log and crawled in it and cried. How could I have just left my mom like that? I am so scared righ now. I started to talk to myself. "Wake up. Wake up! Wake up wake up wake up"! I let out a long sad howl. "Your dreaming Lexi, c'mon wake up". I bit my tail. "Ouch. Ok its not a dream. Maybe mom is ok. Yeah that's right, mom is super tough, she would've beat him and I bet that she is coming for me right now". I cheered up and crawled out of the log and waited for my mom. I waited for hours. "K lex, आप ran pretty far maybe she just can't find you. I know! Let's go back to the den! Yeah that's perfect, she will for sure be waiting for you.......but what way is the den"? My ears lowered and I began to cry again. After a couple मिनटों of crying, I wiped my tears and began to walk. "Don't worry mom, Im coming home".

The six ODST's
Well I got to go back to Safari Sanctuary yesterday and done some volunteer work with my dad. I loved working up there. I got to take care of wolves. They actually let me in all of the cages and fed them raw steaks and chicken. Heh I had fun tho. I got to pet a भेड़िया and but I was shy at first but it was it was awesome. I had a भेड़िया jump on me and licking my face. Heh it was making me laugh. My फ्रेंड्स and dad कहा they might bite my face off but they were wrong. They were friendly and nice. They basically acted like big शिशु :3 heh I gave one a belly rub. I was living a dream. Taking care of wolves. I really loved the भेड़िया up there <3 hope I can go back again :)
