(2:12 A.M.)

A soft rap on the door sent every भेड़िया in the room instantly on edge. I waved them down and glanced through the peep hole. Standing there was my help.
I swung the door wide and grinned. Penny, Bolt, Trudy Chacon, Mittens, and Rhino were all there, standing on my porch.
I hugged the girls, petted Bolt on the head, and picked up the cat and the hamster.
"Glad आप guys could come," I said.
"Wouldn't miss it!" कहा Penny and Trudy at the same time.
"Hey, Colb, I brought a couple others. One's a sniper. He's one of the best shots I've ever seen, can shoot the dust off your boots at a hundred yards, plus a spotter and a reddish भेड़िया that seems like its part of your pack of भेड़िया friends. And one guy with an AK that seems to be a pretty good shot. Plus, Penny brought a few of her own," कहा Trudy, bumping fists.
"Yeah, these two will be kind of helpful."
"Those guys are in the Merlin if आप want to see them."

(A few hours later)

"Damn, we have no idea where the hell she is!" I कहा loudly.
"Come on, Colby, there's got to be some way to figure it out," कहा Kate, who was sitting द्वारा me.
"I mean, we've considered everything!" I snapped at her.
The look on her face made me instantly sorry.
"Jeez, I'm sorry, Kate. It's just really stressful."
She smiled and nuzzled my cheek.
"Hey, Penny, आप got any ideas? I haven't heard आप say a word," कहा Uriah. He and Humphrey were sitting on the fireplace hearth.
"Well," she said, tossing her hair behind her. "My enemy is Dr. Calico, but I highly doubt he knows about आप guys."
This sounded interesting.
"Tell me about him," I said, hoping to draw some inspiration from it.
"He's tall, got a crazy accent and a huge green eye that looks like a cat eye. That's probably where his name comes from. He's a huge cat person, got two of them that ride around on his shoulder, one black and skinny, the other tan and fat. He's got a dog, a German Shepherd he calls Cujo-"
I stopped listening.
"Where's his hideout?" I demanded, interrupting her telling me about his past plans.
"We've never been able to find it. Why?"
"What's his logo?"
She was growing और and और confused, but she drew it out for me.
I instantly recognized it as being on a sign I had seen numerous times.
"I've seen that before!" I exclaimed.
"Where?!" she demanded of me.
I told her where I had seen it.
"Ain't that something? Who would be looking for it in Kettle Falls, Washington?" she muttered under her breath.
"Scar had an unfortunate run in with that Cujo," I told her.
Everyone in the room listened in, as it was their first time hearing of it too.
I told the story, leaving nothing out, but stopping at the sedating part. They, especially Tony and Ela, didn't need to know about that yet.
"Alright, we need to start planning. Rich, Penny, Johannes, gather up all the weapons we have, including Trudy's, and get them all into the garage, with the ammunition and the extra magazines," I said.
Then I turned to Kate and said, "Kate, rally the wolves."
Everyone got right to what I asked them to do, but I stopped Bolt and drew him aside.
"Bolt," I कहा into his ear. "I'm gonna need आप to lay out the plan for them. You're the best strategist I have in that realm, so I'm counting on you."
"Look, Colby," he said. Just like in the film, his voice sounded like John Travolta's. "You know I can't talk around Penny. It'd be just a little strange for her."
"She knows that Scar talks. She just heard Kate talk. I think द्वारा now, nothing आप can do would surprise her."
He shook his head and looked away.
"You know, I can always get Rhino to do it. He'd do it to help Scar," I कहा slyly.
Bolt growled.
"Rhino doesn't know shit about tactics. आप know he'd make a mess of it," he snapped.
I raised my hands.
"Hey, don't look at me. You're the one who's too scared to talk in front of his beloved Penny."
He glared at me, and I saw the faint signs of his heat vision warming up, but he checked it.
"Fine," he spat. "But आप owe me for this."
He turned and left the room to go find all the wolves.
I grinned and went to go help खच्चर the बंदूकों and ammo into the garage.
