Capping a remarkable awards run, Alexander Skarsgård has proven that he can even stand with the leading men: His performance in 
has won him the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series.

Unlike the Emmys, Golden Globes, and Critics’ Choice Awards, all of which honored Skarsgård with best supporting actor trophies, the SAG Awards do not separate lead and supporting categories for TV programs, making it rare for actors not at the center to get nominated — let alone win. But Skarsgård has bucked the trend, proving just how deep the industry’s love for
