This movie was sadder than the Notebook. Sure, in the Notebook they both died, but they were old, and together...

In this, Jamie was so young, and Landon had to watch it happen, knowing he had to live without her ..

My all-time favorite movie turned out to be twice as good in literary form! I was thrilled to find scenes not included in the movie and descriptions that really brought you closer to the characters. Even though I already knew the storyline, I still could not stop the tears from coming. link
